Each month you’ll get a box filled with teas ranging from classically savory to enjoyably trendy, you’ll get terrific, members’ only discounts for our tea shop, and you’ll get everything you need to make that perfect cup of tea. Plus each box comes with some fun extras to help get you started brewing your new favorite teas from the first moment you open the box.
WHAT YOU’LL GET EACH MONTH
- Your boxes will include four loose leaf teas
- Teas come in resealable pouches of 10 grams per tea
- A black tea, a green tea, an herbal tea and more
- Plus a few tea filters for easy single cup brewing!
- Black Teas:Assam, Yunnan, Keemun, Lapsang Souchong, Earl Grey etc.
- Green Teas:Gunpowder, Genmacha, Sencha, Hojicha, & Naturally Scented Greens
- Herbal Teas:Rooibos Blends, Lemongrass, Chamomile, Rosehips, Yerba Mate, Chai Blends etc.
- Other Teas:Tisane Blends, Decaf. Teas, Oolong Teas, Pu’erh Teas

What is Simple Loose Leaf?
Simple Loose Leaf has a passion and knowledge of tea, which we want to share with our members. We have the ability to source unique and exciting types of tea that most people would not have access. Our aim is to be able to both customize a tea experience and challenge with new and exciting flavors. Fundamentally, we mail different loose tea to our members every month.
When do I pay for my Simple Loose Leaf membership?
You pay for your first “round’ of tea when you initially join. If you join the monthly tea plan, then you will pay for the first month of tea. If you join the yearly plan, then you will pay for a year’s worth of tea. If you decided to give Simple Loose Leaf as a gift, you will pay for the gift in its entirety when you place the order.
Can I customize the teas I get or request specific teas each month?
Unfortunately Simple Loose Leaf doesn’t offer the ability to customize the teas customers receive each month. Due to the warehouse we work with we produce the same box for all Simple Loose Leaf customers, month to month. The warehouse company we work with is named Bost, they offer educational services and employment opportunities for local Arkansans that have developmental disabilities. For us, it means we simply can’t offer a customized box experience. But soon we are going to introduce additional box formats, i.e. a Decaf Tea Box, a Green Tea Box, a Black Tea Box, for tea drinkers that have more narrowed tea preferances.
When does Simple Loose Leaf ship?
Simple Loose Leaf ships all subscriptions, ongoing and gift, on the 1st business day of the month.
What is the last day I can order a membership and still get the next shipment?
The cutoff for getting the very next tea box is about noon of the last day of the month. Example: All memberships purchased, or renewed, between the 1st of the month and the last day of the month will get the next month’s box. Any order between May 1st and May 31st will get the June 1st tea box.
How much tea do I get each month?
How much tea do I get each month? Simple Loose Leaf sends out 40 grams of tea with each monthly membership. There will be 4 unique teas in each shipment with 10 grams of each tea sent in resealable pouches.
How can I stop my auto renewals?
All subscription auto renewals can be stopped at any time in your Account Settings beneath the “Your Subscription(s)” heading. If you’ve already been billed for this month’s box, your cancellation will take effect in the next billing cycle. All renewals are final. How much is shipping, and when do I pay for shipping?
Shipping for all US based members is $2.99/month. For Canadian members, shipping is $9.49/month. You pay for shipping when your membership is charged for all months of membership on your purchase. If you are ordering a membership of 6 months, then you will pay for the 6 months of tea boxes plus the 6 corresponding months for shipping. Shipping is calculated automatically during checkout. If you don’t see the shipping total, please let us know. Something may be wrong behind the magical curtains.
