Ellebox Review September 2016

Time of the Month subscription boxes are AMAZING! I just love them! There’s nothing better than receiving a little box of happiness during that “special time”. Let’s be honest, all us ladies have at least one crappy day during our period, and receiving some wellness goods really does make it a little more bearable.

Let’s talk about the specifics. When you sign up for an Ellebox subscription you have a few different options. They even offer organic subscriptions, which is right up my alley. First you choose between the necessities box and the comfort box, I highly recommend the comfort box. Then you let them know how many tampons and how many pads you would like, as well as what brand you prefer. You can also choose the kind of chocolate – milk, dark, or surprise. You then choose a monthly subscription, 3-month prepaid, 6 or 12-month prepaid. Basically you get to customize your box, which is always nice to see when it comes to Time of the Month Boxes.

Today I am reviewing the comfort box, let’s see what I got:

Necessities – 25 Tampons

These are pretty self-explanatory. I don’t really need to say much about them. Other than the fact that I LOVE getting them in the mail.

Panty Liners

I never really knew the value of these little guys until I needed to use one. Now I carry them with me in my purse.

Emergency Chocolate

This is the perfect size. Chocolate is a must during your period, believe me. But I don’t like to keep a lot of it on hand, or else I would eat it all!

House of Wax Apothecary

100% soy wax. Clean burning and long lasting. Hand poured and sustainably packaged in British Columbia.

Candles = Happiness. I have received this brand before. I loved it the first time around, and love it even more the second time around. It doesn’t say what scent it is, but I am thinking it is either Sugar Cookie or Creamy Vanilla. Either way, it smells AMAZING!

Amore Time to Get Cozy Bath Salts

A hot bath is the perfect remedy for a “bad period day”. I was really happy to see bath salts in the box, especially salts that smell so good. These ones have fennel and bergamot in them and I can’t stop smelling them. I kind of want to go have a bath right now.

Tea Sparrow Baked Apple Tea

Ahhh, this is what I was hoping to see in the box. And I love Tea Sparrow. They have their own subscription box and I have reviewed it a couple of times. Baked Apple Tea sounds perfect for Fall.

Ellebox Review September 2016 – Final Thoughts

I love Ellebox. I really, really do. But then again, I am a HUGE fan of Time of the Month boxes in general. I think they are a genius idea, and if it were up to me every woman in the world would automatically get a subscription to one as soon as they “become a woman”. When it comes to Ellebox specifically, I LOVE that they are now offering organic subscriptions, and I LOVE that they include chocolate and wellness products. Yes, I love receiving the necessities in the mail, but I love the feel good products even more. Love, love, love.

XOXO
