Little Life Box Review October 2016

Little Life Box Review October 2016

Little Life Box is my go-to subscription box for healthy discoveries. I love this box, and I love the products we receive. They always manage to find fun new brands, and great products. Last month it was the Chia Bites and Chia Seeds. I wonder what it will be this month….

Already I am impressed with this month’s box. A full-size jar of some sort of peanut spread! This looks promising….

Facial tissue – Caboo

Created by a company who is making it’s mark in eco-friendly products, these kleenex are made from bamboo and sugarcane. 100% biodegradable, Whitened without Chemicals containing Chlorine Bleach, Fragrance Free and  BPA Free.

This might seem like a boring product to some, but I actually love that they sent these. I already have them in my purse.

Mints – Peppermint – Pur

We’ll admit that we’re suckers for Pur company. They make awesome, aspartame-free mints and gums in cute packages that you can take everywhere. Having nice breath is also fun.

The same comment from above also applies here. These are also in my purse.

Seasoning Salt – Herbamare

If you feel like things are never salty enough, we feel you. But, even salt can get boring sometimes. Now you can try a salt that is full of flavor, blended with veggies and herbs!

I think we have received this before, but I totally don’t mind. I use this quite often and am very happy to receive more.

Chocolate – Amore Di Mona

If you’ve been holding off on the sweets for that bikini bod, now’s the time to let it all go. This chocolate is gooey and delicious on top of being free of peanuts, soy, milk, eggs, gluten and tree nuts.

Very cool that this is soy, milk, egg and gluten-free. Chocolate treats are always a good idea.

Sanitary Wipe – SweetSpot Labs

Busy days are the worst – yet inevitable for a girl boss (we’re all girl bosses). Well, these wipes will save your day, especially if you’re running late and don’t have time to shower after the morning workout you did right before your client meeting. Life is hard, but these make it a lot better.

These went straight in my gym bag. I love that they are meant to be used on your “sweet spot” and I love their packaging. I might need to purchase more of these.

Tea – Indian Chai – Clipper

If you’re not already a Clipper Tea convert, you’re missing out. They have tons of different types of tea and we’ve fallen for their specialty blend of Indian Chai.

I have been enjoying a cup of tea everyday for the last few weeks, it makes me happy. I would love it if they included tea in every single box.

Kid ZBar – Clif

An organic baked whole grain snack made with a nutritious blend of carbohydrates, fiber, protein, and fat to maintain kids’ energy…so kids can keep zipping and zooming along, but hey, we’re kids at heart so I guess we can all eat them!

A full box of granola bars! This is awesome. I have a granola bar bin in the pantry, and now it is stocked. I get very excited when I see full-size items like this in my LLB.

Peanut & Cocoa Spread – Natur

Have you been looking for a healthy alternative to Nutella? Well, here it is, and it’s delicious. It’s sweetened with coconut flower nectar! Spread it on your toast, drizzle it on your pancakes or eat it by the spoonful!

This is by far the best product in the October box. I love any sort of nut spread, and am always happy to try new brands. I spread it on rice cakes for a quick snack.

Seaweed Snacks – A-Sha

Add these thin, crispy slices of seaweed to your buddha bowl and you’ll be a happy camper. Of course, these are just as good on their own, but try and get creative with them because their unique taste and texture can add a lot to your recipes.

These are the perfect healthy snack to have in the pantry. I try to have some on hand at all times.

Dates – Yupik

Allow us to introduce you to dates. We’re sure that you’re pretty familiar with these, but these organic ones are amazing! Use them to sweeten almost anything in your recipes or enjoy them on your own. They are a great source of fibre!

Ok, this is awesome! Dates are a pantry staple for us healthy eaters. I use these to sweeten smoothies and baked goods.

Little Life Box Review October 2016 – Final Thoughts

Nut spread, a box of granola bars and dates! I am so happy with this month’s box. I love that Little Life Box includes full-size products, and I also love that they include beauty items. You really do get a little bit of everything in this box – snacks items, drink items, and beauty essentials. I said this last month, but LLB really is a lot of fun to unbox. I never know what to expect, but I always end up loving everything. The ladies at Little Life Box really know what they are doing.

XOXO
