Mommy Mailbox is a monthly gift that uplifts and rewards motherhood. Each box is curated by a different guest blogger, who shares a piece of her style with you by including her favorite goodies. Items are a mix of fashion, gourmet food, fitness, art, home décor and beauty. They kindly sent us this box for review.
Did you see the March Mommy Mailbox review? It was one of my favourites thus far. I am still thinking about it. The curation was perfect. I have really been loving this subscription lately.

Our feature blogger this month is Karrie Locher, a 25-year-old full-time mommy and full-time nurse. Her blog mixes fashion with practicality, as well as tips & tricks for that #momlife. Karrie is perfect for our April box as it is full of items to help recharge yourself. From breath mints that give a boost, to taking care of basic skin needs, to catching up with friends and family and the cutest enamel pin that helps you carry positivity and self-love with you everywhere you go.

These are not only beautiful, but a great reminder as well. I need to remember that a hand-written note is ten times better than an email or text message.
Cultivar Organic Holistic Skincare – Skin Toner
This hydrating and restorative organic toner helps to balance sedum production for both “too oily” and “too dry” skin types. It minimizes redness, and helps to prime skin for moisturizers and make-up.
At first I wasn’t too excited about this item as I just can’t bring myself to add an extra step to my skincare routine. Then I read the directions and my opinion changed. Apparently you can use this as more of a cleanser. You simply mix it with water, massage onto your face and neck, rinse well and you are good to go!
Wellsmith – Hydrating Lip Balm
A hydrating lip balm in a variety of unique flavours that leaves behind the dangerous ingredients you can find in some lip products. We love to support small batch small businesses.
Viter Energy – Energy Breath Mints
Each mint is packed with a B-vitamin complex and caffeine – plus it will freshen your breath. Perfect for when you need a pick me up on a busy day.
These little gems arrived at the perfect time. I am lacking in the energy department right now. Things are so busy and stressful that my morning coffee just isn’t cutting it. Hopefully these will give me the little boost I need to get through the next few weeks.
Fred & Far – Enamel Pin Card
Fred & Far is on a mission to spread self-love to women everywhere. They encourage you to honour, choose and remember yourself. Everyday. Their jewelry is a reminder to love yourself first. The future is bright and so are you.
How pretty is this pin!! I love the colors and I love the design. This company intrigues me. I’ve never heard of it before. I took some time to browse their website and discovered the following info on their About Page, it’s a little note from the founder:

Mommy Mailbox Review April 2017 – Final Thoughts
What a great theme this month! I feel like my Mommy Mailbox showed up at the perfect time. Things have been hectic as of late, and I definitely need to recharge. The April box is the perfect reminder that we all need to take time out of out hectic schedules to look after ourselves. If we are tired and run-down, we aren’t as productive as we should be. I definitely need a little boost right now, and some extra energy. I am going to pop a mint, take care of my skin, and write some overdue thank you cards. Until next month……
