Sweet Peanut Review April 2016
Today’s box review is different from my typical reviews. Sweet Peanut is actually an online retailer for kids clothes, but they also have a Surprise Box, which is kind of like some of the subscription boxes I review. And don’t get to review kids boxes too often so I was actually really looking forward to this box.
If you aren’t familiar with Sweet Peanut it is an online retailer for Baby clothes, they offer fresh and fun prints in ultra soft organic cotton with easy styling and no fuss closures. You can purchase items separately or opt for their surprise box which contains a variety of pieces and carries a retail value of $100 – $150.

Seeing as I don’t have children (yet) I’m not overly familiar with the pros and cons of certain types of children’s clothing. So……I had to do some research on the Sweet Peanut website and found out that they are a local company (only 4 hours from my hometown), their clothing is made with 100% organic cotton, and they use a one zip closure on their long rompers and footed pajamas which is supposed to be amazing. You can get a mystery box for both boys and girls in a number of different sizes. Todays’ review is for the girl’s box size 6-12 months.
Long Rompers – This snug fitting sleepwear is free from all harmful chemical flame retardants and is made from 100% breathable cotton. It’s one zipper closure makes for easy diaper changes.
Onesie – Folded lap collar. Three snap closure. Long seat for cloth diapered bottoms. Slim body fit. These traditional pieces are the baby clothes that are the wardrobe essential for anyone under two feet. Made from 100% organic cotton.
Dress Romper – Easy over the head and the three snap onesie closure makes for a finished and polished look while still allowing for easy diaper access. Perfect one piece dressing for warm and sunny spring and summer days. This baby girl dress is made from 100% organic cotton.
Thoughts: I wasn’t sure what to expect with the Sweet Peanut Mystery Box, but let’s just say I was pleasantly surprised. I’m really picky when it comes to children’s clothing and tend to lean towards simple designs and understated styles. I’m not one for overly “cutsie” clothes, and don’t like anything with characters or figures on it. Luckily the items I received from Sweet Peanut fit my style preferences perfectly. And I am in LOVE with their Dress Rompers…..how cute are those! I love the idea of the Mystery Box and think it would make a great gift for new Mom’s.
