All Around Vegan Review December 2018

If you live a vegan lifestyle, or are possibly thinking about venturing into the vegan world, this would be a great subscription box to subscribe to. I have been vegan for 8 or 9 years (maybe longer) and let me tell you……finding vegan-friendly products isn’t always an easy task. All Around Vegan is a box I really enjoy receiving. They send me a little bit of everything – snacks, lifestyle, bath & body and activism products. Not to mention the fact that they introduce me to new brands every month.

Vegan Rob’s Wild Rice Chips
This month we’ve included a few different snack items. The first of which is Vegan Rob’s Wild Rice Chips. Made with whole ingredients, these crispy chips have managed to be some of our favourites yet!
If you read my reviews on a regular basis you will know that this is one of my all-time favorite brands when it comes to vegan snacks, or just chips in general. Vegan Rob’s has some really great flavours. Some are made with cauliflower, beets, jackfruit and asparagus……just to name a few.
GFB’s Coconut Cashew Crunch Bites
The second snack is the GFB’s Coconut cashew Crunch Bites. These protein-packed bites are super filling and are a great energy source to take on the go!
I’m trying to remember if I have tried this brand before and I don’t think I have. But…….I love any sort of healthy little bite-sized snack so I’m pretty sure I am going to love them. Oh, and they are made with rice protein and pea protein, which is pretty darn awesome. I am always looking for ways to add more protein to my diet.
Theo’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
The last snack item is Theo’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. A treat many of us enjoyed before going vegan, and luckily there is a vegan version of them.
Chocolate is definitely something I miss since becoming vegan. There are lots of vegan-friendly options but when it comes to the good old treats I use to eat prior to becoming vegan, they are few and far between. That’s where these peanut butter cups come in. I am a sucker for chocolate and peanut butter. Mind you, I am trying to limit my chocolate intake as of late so I will put these in the freezer and save them for a special occasion.
rareEssence Hand Lotion
It’s getting cold and dry out there. That’s why our bath & body item for the month is a hand lotion by rareEssence. Vegan, cruelty-free, phthalate-free, and is sure to keep your hands from drying out.
Hand lotion is a must this time of year so this will definitely come in handy. I will either put it in my purse or my travel bag. Or maybe even my vehicle…..I feel like I really should have a little travel bag in my vehicle with all my necessities in it – lotion, brush, hair tie, mouth wash, wipes, etc…..
Samara The Vegan Mini
For our lifestyle item this month we’ve partnered up with Samara bags to bring you the Vegan Mini. This vegan leather purse is carefully folded with a single piece of microfibre, held together with a single brass clasp, and can hold 12-15 of your most needed cards/cash. Simple, elegant and a $35 value.
Well isn’t this just the cutest little purse/card holder you have ever seen! The color is gorgeous and I really like the idea of using it for your cards and cash. My current wallet is quite big and doesn’t fit in my small hand bags.
Temporary Tattoos
For our activism item this month we’ve brought a couple of vegan temporary tattoos for fun!! Thanks for taking part in December’s box.
All Around Vegan Review December 2018 – Final Thoughts
As per usual, All Around Vegan has put together a lovely box. We received a little bit of everything and I was introduced to a couple new brands. The Samara Mini is probably one of my favorite lifestyle products we have received thus far and the hand lotion will definitely come in handy. I also really love that we receive a variety of snacks each month – vegan snacks are my favorite! I maybe would have liked to see one other small bath & body item, but other than that they did a great job. It’s nice to see a subscription box on the market for those of us living a vegan lifestyle.
