Here’s a peek at the items we received in the July Bombay & Cedar….

Juniper Berry Essential Oil ($16)

Juniper is a coniferous evergreen treelike shrub that grows to about 6 feet in height. From its berries, essentials oil is steam distilled.

Every month we receive 2 new essential oils and it’s probably the best part of the box. This month I received 2 oils I’ve never used before. First up we have Juniper Berry which is good for cramps, stomach issues and it speeds up healing……just to name a few.

Sweet Basil Essential Oil ($10)

Basil has been cultivated in India for over 5000 years. It quickly spread over the continent and found itself at home throughout the Mediterranean as well.

Next up we have Sweet Basil oil which is good for digestion, cold, asthma, infections, pain and focus.

Morning Focus Aromatherapy Putty ($14)

Putty is not just for kids anymore. This lemon, basil & rosemary essential oil infused aromatherapy putty promote calm and focus.

I never thought I would see the day where I would play with putty but here we are and here I am sitting at my desk with a jar of putty sitting in front of me. Not only is it fun, it also smells amazing!!! I think I am mostly playing with it because of the smell. I just can’t get enough.

Eat Your Coffee Bar by Eat Your Coffee ($2.50)

An on-the-go “slump buster” bar for a mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack in Fudgy Mocha Latte, Peanut Butter Mocha or Salted Caramel Macchiato.

This month’s snack comes in the form of a salted caramel macchiato bar and I am SO excited to give it a try. This bar has 80mg of caffeine, it is gluten free, vegan and non-GMO. Oh……and I just happen to love anything salted.

Hand Sanitizer Spray ($6.49)

Alcohol-free & kills 99.9% of germs & protects for up to 4 hours. Fragranced with essential oil and over 100 uses per bottle. FDA approved. In Ocean or Pomegranate.

This little bottle of sanitizer arrived at the perfect time. I needed one to keep in my purse and out of all the hand sanitizers I have received this just might be my favourite scent.

Work Life by Molly Erman ($20)

From maximizing productivity to navigating office dating and communal kitchens, Work Life is a handbook for the modern office – whatever yours looks like.

Such a fun book! It is full of useful tips to get you through your work day. It includes ideas on how to get organized, how to stay healthy at work, how to navigate office culture, work relationships and more!

Portable 3 in 1 Razor by Sphynx ($14.99)

Perfectly designed for shower-free shaving in Pink, Purple, Teal or Black.

Yes, yes, yes!!! I have been wanting to get my hands on one of these for quite some time. I discovered Sphinx a couple months ago and fell in love with the design, convenience and fun packaging. This handy little razor has everything you need for shower-free shaving. Take it with you anywhere.

Refreshed Herbal Face Mist by Feel ($32)

Refreshed is a do-anything skincare staple that you’ll always be reaching for. It hydrates. it tones, it sets makeup, or refreshes makeup. or it just picks you up in general.

This is one of my favourite brands to receive in subscription boxes. I don’t know if it’s their products, formulas or the gorgeous packaging, but whatever it is, I am glad to see it in the July box.

Matte Lipstick by Terre Mere ($34)

This full coverage formula slides on smoothly for mouth-watering, long-lasting, beautiful lips. Available in a variety of colors.

To be totally honest, I’m not much of a lipstick girl. I really wish I was, but I just can’t pull it off. I try it from time to time but ultimately end up with a quick coat of lip balm instead of a fun shade of gloss.

Thank You Gift

If you shared your box on social media last month you have also received a special gift as a thank you for spreading the word about our box.

Bombay & Cedar Review July 2018 – Final Thoughts

Bombay & Cedar continues to impress me month after month. I have LOVED every single box I have received and I get so much use out of the products they include. They curate great themes and they source amazing products from quality brands. This month I am most excited about the essential oils, the Sphynx razor and putty. I never thought I would be excited about a jar of putty but I am. So far I have the putty on my desk, the razor in my shower, the sanitizer and the snack bar in my purse, the face mist on my bathroom counter, and the essential oils in my diffuser. The only items I might not get use out of are the lipstick and the book but both of those items will make great gifts. This will always be a favourite!!
