Here’s a closer look at the July Premium Bombay & Cedar box….

Lime Essential Oil by Bombay & Cedar ($14)

Due to all the properties of this oil, it is beneficial to treating infections, increasing appetite, promoting emotional balance, reducing fever and more.

I’ve used lemon, orange and grapefruit essential oils over the years, but I’ve never used lime. I feel like it will be a nice scent for the Summer. I wonder what I should mix it with?

Peppermint Essential Oil by Bombay & Cedar ($14)

One of the most widely used and versatile essential oils there is. It can be used to soothe nausea, clear congestion, boost energy levels and much more.

I could smell the peppermint oil the moment I opened the box, and oh my goodness, it is such an amazing scent. I think this just might be my favorite oil to date. I find it uplifting and relaxing at the same time…..is that even possible? And I LOVE the fact that it can soothe nausea.

Strawberry Fruit Leather by Stretch Island ($0.79)

Stretch Island’s terrifically tart and still sweet enough to eat fruit leather strips are the perfect grab and go snack when you’re in a dash.

Energy Mints by Neuro ($3.50)

NeuroGum’s proprietary nootropic caffeine + L theanine blend with brain activating B6 and B12 vitamins has been scientifically shown to boost focus and cognition.

I have received mints like this in the past and to be totally honest I don’t really love the idea.

Rejuvenating Mask by EvioSkin x Aurora Cannabis ($22)

The natural fatty acids and antioxidants found in hemp seed oil make it a good choice if you suffer from dry or sensitive skin. Apply a thin layer to the face to use as an everyday moisturizer.

I have dry and sensitive skin so this could potentially be a great product for me. You can use it two times per week and are to apply a generous amount and let sit for 15 minutes.

She Creates Journal by Compendium ($16.95)

Here is a place just for her to dream, to discover something new. Here she has space to explore and moments of inspiration to encourage her.

This is the most beautiful journal I have ever received. It fits my style preferences perfectly. Simple, classic, neutral colors, etc….. The pages are a dotted grid style and while I would have referred lined, I’m still loving it and will definitely put it to use.

Pearly Wipes by The Vanity Project ($10.95)

Clean and whiten your teeth on the go with these convenient, natural teeth wipes that remove residue and staining from coffee, tea, lip stains, wine and more, while freshening breath.

Well isn’t this just a fun little item. I’ve never used teeth wipes before but I am totally up for it. The packaging is chic enough to carry around in your purse and I am very intrigued by the idea of cleaning my teeth while on the go.

Bamboo Hairbrush by BKIND ($17)

BKIND’s hairbrush has large wooden bristles which help to naturally condition your hair, and evenly distribute your hair’s natural oils.

Oh…..this is exciting. I can’t remember the last time I received a quality brush in any of my subscription boxes so this feels like a special treat. I also happen to love the BKIND brand.

Awaken Shower Spray by Spa Room ($8)

Create a steam-room effect in the privacy of your own shower. With this Essential Oil Shower Spray, you can benefit from multi-faceted medicinal properties while enjoying fresh floral-herbal extracts.

This is another product that gets me excited. You are to spray in to the steamy air over your shower head and the refreshing scent will permeate the entire room. Love it!

Kraft Textured Candle by Magnolia Home ($18)

A simple glass candle that sits inside a white-textured Kraft bag which can be used as a small catchall when the candle is removed. Available in scents, Dwell, Love & Gather.

This is one of the spoilers I saw for the July box and I think it is absolutely gorgeous. I love the look of the textured kraft bag and I love the brand as well. I received the scent Gather. I can’t really put my finger on it but I am picking up a rich, autumn floral scent.

Oversized Scarf by LOF ($20)

A two tone striped oblong scarf that is the perfect added accessory to any look whether it’s casual or professional. Make it into an infinity scarf or simply wear it as a shawl around your shoulders. Available in several colors.

Eeek! Another item that makes me very excited. I haven’t received a scarf in the longest time and it’s one of my favorite items to receive in subscription boxes. Scarves are a great way to dress up a casual outfit. I received a beige/cream color with black accents throughout. I’m curious to see what other colors were available.

Bombay & Cedar Review July 2019 – Final Thoughts

I’m thinking that the July Bombay & Cedar just might be one of my favorite Bombay & Cedar boxes to date. I had a good feeling about it the moment I opened it and was greeted by the lovely peppermint scent. It set the tone for the box. In addition to that we received the most beautiful journal, a hair brush, shower spray, candle and scarf…..among other things but those are my favorite items in the box this month. I’m not as excited about the snack and the mints but the other products more than make up for that. This is the kind of subscription box I LOVE to see!
