You all know how much I love Book of the Month, so instead of rambling about that again, I am instead sharing with you a very cool promo they have available for new members.

Coupon Code: For a limited time, new members can get a free copy of Into the Water by Paula Hawkins, author of The Girl on the Train, with a 3 month plan with promo code WATER. Current members can choose to add-on the title with their May selection (starting May 1st) for $9.99 – CLICK HERE

Into the Water by Paula Hawkins

A single mother turns up dead at the bottom of the river that runs through town. Earlier in the summer, a vulnerable teenage girl met the same fate. They are not the first women lost to these dark waters, but their deaths disturb the river and its history, dredging up secrets long submerged.

Left behind is a lonely fifteen-year-old girl. Parentless and friendless, she now finds herself in the care of her mother’s sister, a fearful stranger who has been dragged back to the place she deliberately ran from—a place to which she vowed she’d never return.

Here’s a little snippet from a review I found on GoodReads:

There was something of a slow start, but not enough to spoil my enjoyment of it, as the hints at witchcraft and mysteries, and where this story was actually going, really kept me gripped.

Normally I don’t go for mysteries or thrillers, but thanks to Book of the Month I am slowing starting to broaden my horizons. The last book I read from Book of the Month was a mystery and it was SO good. Therefore, I am actually really excited to read this one.

It appears as though each chapter is devoted to a different character, which I actually really like.

I am a few chapters in right now, and am happy to report the book has drawn me in already. I am SUPER picky when it comes to my books. If they don’t interested me within the first few chapters I can’t read them. I have a good feeling about this one. I think it’s going to be a quick read.

Book of the Month Review & Coupon Code April 2017

Book of the Month has really been impressing me as of late. I get extremely excited when this box shows up at the post office, and I have been really happy with the monthly selections this year. I stopped reading for quite some time, and didn’t realize how much I was missing it. Now I look forward to quiet afternoons where I can pull out one of my Book of the Month selections, make a pot of tea, get cozy on the couch, and delve into a new book. It’s a great way for me to unwind and slow down……even if it’s only 20 minutes a day.

Have you tried Book of the Month?

XOXO
