Wildalone by Krassi Zourkova

“If you think of love as a win, you will always lose.  Such is the mysterious way of the universe.”

The Witch of Belladonna Bay – By Susanne Palmieri

“When I was little, I thought it was terribly romantic, being half stardust, half magnolia”

In this darkly imaginative debut novel full of myth, magic, romance, and mystery, a Princeton freshman is drawn into a love triangle with two enigmatic brothers and discovers terrifying secrets about her family and herself – a bewitching blend of Twilight, The Secret History, Jane Eyre, and A Discovery of Witches.”

Ok, you had me and Jane Eyre.  I’ll definitely give this one a try.  It seems like there is a bit of a love theme going on being the month of romance!  I might not be able to wait until the lazy beach reads to dig into these ones.

“Murder, mystery, and magic meld in a novel of absolute enchantment.  About the lies we tell, the love we struggle for, and the way we find our way back to out rightful place i the world.  Palmieri’s book is a stunner.”

The only problem with this box is finding the time to read all these great stories!  I think this one is going to go on the summer to do list!  Can’t wait for that warmer weather and binge reading!

BookCase Club March 2017 – Final Thoughts

Both these books have received decent reviews (between 3.5-4.5 stars) and great ratings!  I can’t wait to dig in.  I love that this subscription box is only $9.99!  You’d be hard pressed to find good books for that price and it’s comparable to that of a movie rental, but you get way more entertainment out of it.  BookCase Club is a definite win for any book lover.
