Bentley can sniff this box a mile away! It’s clearly his favourite and he cannot wait for me to finish photographing it so he can dig right in! Let’s get started.
Summer should get a speeding ticket! It feels like yesterday we were packing up and heading out to celebrate Canada Day, and now, Labour Day is just around the corner.
This is the time of year when vacations come to an end, kids are feeling down, parents are going a little stir crazy, and pup… well he’s just loving having everyone together. Take a few days and relax, wind down and enjoy what we have left of summer.
We tossed some yummy treats together for pup to keep him busy while the family is planning the last few days of summer. His box is filled with not only healthy but fun treats and toys that he’ll enjoy for days!
Chomper Brand

This is a great toy for Bentley! He is such a chewer. Mind you, he doesn’t quite chew the way he use to, being all grown up and out of puppy stage and all, but when he gets bored he can really rip a toy apart! I have to look for toys with really good stitching and strong fabric and this one is meeting all the standards!
Great Jacks
Mint Veggie Branch – Inspired by Nature, Buddy Jack’s Treats are handcrafted in small batches. They are designed with a unique rough texture that dogs love to chew. With its grooves and bumps and all natural ingredients, these dental treats support clean teeth and fresh breath entertaining dogs while chewing.
Such a perfect treat! Love the dental component to it. These are exactly the type of things I look for when choosing Bentley a treat. He will love them too. I also like that you can break them up and give them in smaller pieces.
The Barkery
Peanut Butter & Banana Snaps – Natural “PB” is a great source of Vitamin E, a strong antioxidant that protects cell membranes. Bananas are said to add natural acidophilus bacteria to the bowels and are a good source of potassium which benefits the muscular system.
Ok, we have received numerous treats from The Barkery and they are fantastic! Bentley has loved all of them!! I’m a huge fan of their model, ingredients and that they are becoming a regular in Bowzer Box!
Loyalty
Beef Casings – Natural beef casings are made from premium grass fed, open range beef. They are all-natural, chemical and preservative free. Beef casings are crunchy and hard in texture and can be broken into smaller pieces for training.
Love the sound of this! I had no idea of all the harsh chemicals in dog treats and now that I’m aware it can be really difficult finding well sourced and made treats. Thank you Bowzer for taking the guess work out of this!
Hero Dog Treats
Stuffed Beef Gullet – Gullets are a firm treat and will give any dog something to chew on and enjoy. Gullets are the esophagus of the bull which is high in Chondroitin (which helps with dogs joint health). They are also a fully digestible treat and an excellent dental dog chew. These gullets are stuffed with bladder bully sticks, which are great long lasting treats in themselves.
Ok, that might be the most disgusting description I’ve ever had to copy out. But Bentley is 100% in love with it and stole it almost immediately after I was done shooting. He’s been chewing on it quite a bit and be warned, has been pooping for days!! It might be a tad too big for his tiny body and he’s probably eaten way too much of it already. I’d hide it from him, but he’s already done that task himself and hidden it from me somewhere in the house. He knows me too well.
I couldn’t help but include this photo in the review…. Bentley often sits off to the side waiting for me to be finished so he can help himself…..

Bowzer Box August 2017 – Final Thoughts
I feel like this part of the review is getting harder for Bowzer Box, because there really isn’t anything constructive to say! I love this box every month, they always provide treats that I would purchase myself in stores, they source really well made and durable toys and often provide unique products that are season specific. They really are all round outstanding… and they are Canadian to boot!
