Bowzer Box Review August 2018

Bowzer Box is a Canadian subscription box for dog lovers and their pets. Based in British Columbia, Bowzer Box works to provide high quality treats, toys, and samplers from Canadian and American companies, shipped right to your doorstep every month. Each box is tailored to your dog’s characteristics and can be customized based on the size of your pooch and other factors. The box fits all the goodies easily, and always includes a fun facts card as well.

The Goodies

Hearty Tails Gourmet Pet Treats

This box was full to the brim with a variety of treats for my pooch. The Hearty Tails Gourmet treats offer healthy options and my dog really likes the chicken & sweet potato flavour. The large ‘Free Range Moo Taffy’ was a unique shaped treat, and great for my medium-sized dog to chew. It was another healthy alternative that I have not seen before, and it’s a great option to entertain her while I am working. The last brand of treats included was Nutrience Freeze Dried Biscuits, in Hearty Pork & Chia flavour. It’s produced in Montreal and is made from 100% Canadian sourced ingredients. My dog loves them, and I like that I am supporting a local company.

Beyond the foods, a very strong colourful rope toy was featured in the box too. My puppy enjoys playing with this toy, and I appreciate it that it is very durable. I like that it helps clean their teeth as they play with it but do wish it was a little longer in size.

Pet Food Can Savers

Another product included was a pair of food can lids that allow pet food tins to be saved for later. I have never seen this accessory before for pet food cans, and I know it will be very useful. This is also a versatile product that can be used for dog food tins, cat food tins, and more.

Overall…

I adored this Bowzer Box, and more importantly, so did my dog. Her favourite item was the rope toy, and I am pleased with the variety of healthy treat options included. Bowzer Box offers reasonably priced boxes and low shipping costs, and I am proud to support a growing Canadian company.
