BuddhiBox’s mission is to deliver monthly mindfulness by sending you a box full of goodies that enhance your yoga practice and lifestyle. They kindly sent us this box for review.
This is my first time reviewing BuddhiBox but I am very familiar with the box as they have been part of our directory for quite some time. I aspire to be a yogi one day but my coordination hasn’t allowed it. I’m not even kidding. I once was told that I was a distraction to the class because of how uncoordinated and unflexible I was. I also have a really hard time not expressing exactly how I feel with my facial expressions so needless to say it was pure entertainment watching me. I forgot to mention that it was at a Mexican Resort too so it wasn’t like a fancy class by any means (insert palm to the face emoji here). Anywhoo…One day I will get there and until then I can dream and enjoy yoga inspired swag!

I love this note of positivity. It’s always nice to be reminded that we have a purpose among the chaos that is life.
Smudge Stick ($6)
These white sage smudge sticks not only help purify the atmosphere but also offer protection from negativity and other powerful sources that can interfere with the balance of your life. I have to be honest, this is a little out of my comfort zone. I have never smudged but do know a lot of people that do and will absolutely love receiving this item this month! I did a little research and found some interesting info on smudging. It is an ancient and sacred ceremony best done with full awareness in a slow, mindful manner. I also read that it is very important to spend a bit more time in the room corners as they tend to accumulate stagnant energy. I am all for protecting our lives from the negativity and sources that can interfere with the balance of life. Best to start the New Year full of positivity and light.
Carnelian Stone ($8)
Healing stone to unleash personal power and remind you to live your best life! Known as a stone of motivation and endurance, leadership and courage, Carnelian stone stabilizes energies so you can continue to function on high energy levels.
Stones and crystals are another item I am not completely familiar with so I did a little research on this item too and found some super interesting info on this stone. Ancient warriors wore the Carnelian stone around their neck back in the day for courage and physical power to conquer their enemies. In Egypt, it was worn by architects to show their rank of builder and was also called “the setting sun”. It is also said to attract prosperity, new resources and good luck and is commonly used as an excellent aid for training, coordination of physical exercise programs, and for balancing body energy levels.
Reiki Herbal Votive Candle – Positive Energy ($6)

Candles are always a welcome addition to any box, especially one that provides positive energy! The scent is mild and I look forward to lighting it in the evening while I take a relaxing bath.

This is just what the doctor ordered! I feel like I have been fighting off something for the last month atleast. Every few days I feel run down and brace myself for whatever sickness is lurking. My office is now fully protected with this spray which smells incredible. I can smell the eucalyptus, clove and lemon. Bring on immunity! I think this is my favorite item this month!
BuddhiBox BBEO Review January 2018 – Final Thoughts
Ok, so while I may not be familiar with all the items this month I can definitely see the value and appreciate the items from a yogi perspective. January is the month to reset your life with positivity and good energy regardless of how you choose to do so. I think BuddhiBox did an excellent job of curating the January box to reflect the New Year. We can all use motivation and positive energy to start the year, especially with the grey clouds looming! The immunity spray was definitely my favorite item this month as everyone around me seems to be down with a cold or flu. I will probably pass along the smudge stick and stone to someone with more smudging experience, although the stone is supposed to help with coordination of physical exercise and heaven knows I could use a little help there 😉
