BuddhiBox Review July 2017

BuddhiBox it is a monthly care package filled with full-size yoga products that will inspire your life, workouts and community. They kindly sent us this box for review.

BuddhiBox is a really wonderful little box for those living a yogi lifestyle. Whether you practice physically or mentally, one in a blue moon, or daily, this box will help you along the way and give you something to look forward to every month.

Here’s a look at the items we received in the July box…..

From Molly with Love – Pacific Beach Sea Salt Spray ($18)

Make those tousled beachy waves look effortless with this sea salt texture spray. A blend of pink Himalayan sea salt, coconut oil, water and pure essential oils that add moisture and leave a light tropical scent on your locks. Made with love in San Diego.

I definitely noticed a beach/summer theme when unboxing this month’s BuddhiBox, starting with this salt spray. Nothing says Summer haircare like a good ol’ beach spray. This is perfect for adding texture to your hair and making you smell like you spent the day out in the ocean air. It includes some of my favourite oils – coconut, lavender, rosemary, and jasmine.

Blue Calcite Healing Stone ($8)

Blue Calcite is a helpful and calming stone that has a number of healing attributes. Like other types of calcite, this variety helps to boost the flow of energy within your body, and can help to clear negative vibrations. It is an excellent stone to aid in the development of psychic gifts and is also known to enhance creativity.

This is the kind of item that sets BuddhiBox apart from other boxes. I find this to be such a unique product for a subscription box. I’m yet to fully appreciate the value of healing stones, but I’m learning a little more every month.

Salt Stick Fast Chews ($3)

It’s Summer time and the temperatures are rising! During these warmer months it is essential to stay hydrated. Fast Chews tablets are formulated to closely resemble the electrolyse profile lost in sweat: sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium. Plus they are consciously made in the USA – Free of banned substances, non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegetarian.

This is a very cool product for a summer-inspired box. I love discovering new health supplements, especially when they are geared towards hydration. I have been running outside almost everyday for the last few weeks and can definitely tell that my hydration levels are down. These are much-needed.

Gypsy Soul Organics Sun Salutation Salve ($6)

An all purpose, all body salve. 100% natural and organic, with a calming vanilla and honey aroma. Restore your skin post-sun with this nourishing balm that will heal everything between the sun and moon.

And the Summer theme continues. Use this salve after a day in the sun. It smells amazing!!! Like good ol’ vanilla. Not the floral version of vanilla, but the Mom is baking in the kitchen kind of vanilla.

BuddhiBox Artisan Seashell Soaps ($6)

Inspired by the shells you collect on the seashore, no two of these delicate soaps are alike. Artisanally created by hand, these seashell soaps bring the summer beach vibes into your home.

These aren’t the most exciting product/item in the box, but they are cute and fit the theme perfectly. They would be cute in the guest bathroom, on a cute soap dish, sitting on top of some pretty stones.

LaRitzy Glossy Liquid Lipstick ($24)

Created for all the beauty lovers out there, because beauty is more than just about looking good, it’s also about feeling good and doing good. Committed to Ahimsa (the yoga principal of non-harming), LaRitzy never tests on animals and only the highest quality ingredients are used – no parabens, because you deserve the best.

I’m sure you are all very familiar with this product by now. It has popped up in quite a few subscription boxes over the last couple months. This time I received “nudes” – a very pretty color that will probably be just a couple shades darker than my natural lip color.

BuddhiBox Boho Ocean Necklace ($25)

Your summer jewelry staple has arrived! Tiny beads in blue hues inspired by the color of the sea. Larger glass beads provide a stylish accent and are reminiscent of sea glass that washes up onto the shore. Essential tassels give that easy, boho vibe. Made just for you!

Now we are talking! This is the kind of item I LOVE to see in my yogi boxes. Tassel necklaces are a personal fave. I think they are so beautiful. This one is a tad on the bright side, I usually prefer neutral colours, but it fits the beachy theme and is beyond gorgeous.

Glowing Orchards Organics Beauty Sample ($3)

Beauty and body products that are 100% naturally derived, high quality and most importantly, effective. Not willing to compromise on Saucha (the yoga principal of purity), products are organic and free from synthetics, parabens, artificial fragrances, phthalates, mineral oils and artificial dyes.

Eeek! This is fun! A travel-size natural deodorant. This is perfect! It will fit nicely in my purse or travel bag, and it smells beautiful…..just like grapefruit. Perfect for summer!

BuddhiBox Review July 2017 – Final Thoughts

This month’s BuddhiBox is absolutely wonderful. I LOVE the Summer theme, all the products fit together perfectly. The July box has a really great mixture of items – healing stone, body product, hair product, makeup, jewelry, and supplement. My favourite Buddhi Boxes always end up being the ones that contain jewelry or fitness accessories, so this month’s box is going on the favourites list.
