Here’s a look at the recipes I received this week:

Spring White Bean Chili (with an avocado-radish salsa)

This crowd-pleasing chili is packed with creamy cannellini beans, tangy green chiles and savoury Southwestern spices. You’ll chop up crunchy radishes, tossed with avocado chunks to make a citrus-kissed salsa, garnished for a flavourful finishing touch.

Italian Farro Bowl (with cherry tomatoes on-the-vine, zucchini and parmesan petals)

Fresh on-the-vine cherry tomatoes come together with hearty farro and parmesan cheese petals in this savoury Italian sensation. You’ll roast the tomatoes to bring out their sweet, acidic flavour, alongside tender zucchini and button mushrooms. A drizzle of the roasted garlic vinaigrette ties it together on a high note.

Crispy Five Spice Tofu (with cauliflower rice and creamy peanut sauce)

Crispy five spiced tofu is the foundation for tangy peanut-sesame sauce in this plant-powered riff on peanut satay. You’ll grate cauliflower into a deliciously fluffy ‘rice’ stand-in and serve it with a medley of gently charred broccoli and red onion.

What I Love About Chef’s Plate
  • Each plan allows you to choose whether you want to receive 2, 3 or 4 recipes per week
  • The Family Plan is only $9.75 per plate
  • You can skip a delivery or pause your account at any time
  • With the 2-person plan you can choose from 7 different recipes each week
  • The recipe cards are very detailed
  • They usually have at least one dairy-free menu option
Chef’s Plate Review May 2017 – Final Thoughts

Chef’s Plate is the best invention since sliced bread. I rave about this subscription service on a regular basis. If you haven’t tried it out…..you MUST!! This is the perfect subscription for anyone who is short on time, get’s overwhelmed in the kitchen, has trouble thinking of different meals to make, or hates grocery shopping. You have no clue how much this subscription has changed my dinner game. I say this ALL the time, but it has saved me money, saved me time, cut down on my food waste, and allowed me to make some amazing meals that I never would have been able to come up with on my own. I can’t see myself without this subscription in my life…….I will forever be a subscriber.
