Decor Discovery Review February 2017

Decor Discovery is a curated home decor box designed to keep your interiors fresh. Whether it’s your home, your office, or both, this box is an easy & affordable way to get you loving your space. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Decor Discovery is a brand new subscription box, I believe this is the first box they shipped out. I’m a little late with this review, but it literally just arrived. Today we are looking at the January/February box as Decor Discovery is a bimonthly subscription. Their next box should be shipping soon…..I think?

Decor Discovery boxes are shipped in a brown mailing box, this way the gorgeous black and gold logo’d box isn’t damaged. I love it when subscription companies do this. For me, the packaging is part of the excitement, I love a gorgeous box, and this one is GORGEOUS. The box doesn’t come with a product card, but they do include a little product info tag with each item. What a cute idea.

Here’s a look at the items I received in the January/February Decor Discovery Box:

Satchel

Reuse the satchel for organizing or gift giving. 

I’m all for reusing/recycling and love that one of our items came in this satchel. I will probably use this as an organizer for my gym bag or I will use it as a gift bag.

Trinket Tray

Trinket trays are a fun yet practical way to show off treasures on your desk or dresser. 

I love trinket trays. I have one on my dresser and one on my desk. My favourite way to use them is as a jewelry holder. I put my rings and earrings on the one I am currently using at the end of the day. This particular tray is chic and bold. I usually go for muted tones when it comes to bedroom decor, but this is a nice change from my white/grey color scheme.

Pillow Covers

Yellow is known to bring joy so use these covers any place you could use more happiness. 

Love, love, love that they included pillow covers in their first box! This is the kind of item I think of when I think of home decor. I love pillows and I love being able to switch out the covers.

Peak Frame

Keep memos and photos close with this peak frame; or leave it empty as a cool desk accessory. 

Photo frames are always a good idea. Everyone has photos to display, and even if you don’t, this frame doubles as a stand-alone decor item.

Decor Discovery Review February 2017 – Final Thoughts

Home decor subscription boxes are few and far between. Trust me on this one, I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled. I LOVE home decor items and am so happy to have discovered this box. Decor Discovery is filling a void in the subscription box world and catering to those of us who find value in, and get excited about, these kind of items. I’m Please with my first box. I think they did a wonderful job. The packaging is gorgeous, and the items are well thought out. The black/gold color combo might be a little bold for some people but I happen to LOVE gold, so it is a win with me. This box was a great start for Decor Discovery, I can’t wait to see what else they come up with.
