Ecocentric Mom Review September 2017
Ecocentric Mom is a monthly subscription curated for your stage of motherhood. Choose between the pregnancy, mom & baby and mom subscription box, and switch to the next box when you’re ready. They kindly sent us this box for review.
Ecocentric Mom puts together a really great box for Mom and Baby. I love that they have different subscription options to choose from. You can choose to receive the Pregnancy Box, Mom & Baby Box, Mom & Toddler Box, or just the Mom Box. This would be a great box to sign up for when you first become pregnant and simply change the subscription once baby is born and again when baby is a toddler.
Here’s a closer look at the September box…..

Organic Moringa Superfood Tea by Miracle Tree
Miracle Tree’s Apple/Cinnamon & Organic Moringa Superfood Tea is an award-nominated herbal infusion expertly blended with the flavor palate with moringa’s earthy and bone-dry taste and the sweet and spice of apple and cinnamon.
Moringa has been used worldwide to combat malnutrition. It is a nutritionally complex whole food naturally rich in vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Daily use of moringa can help to restore your imbalances in your diet.
This is very exciting and very appropriate for the time of year. Not only is it Fall, but it is also apple season, which means I am starting to drink more tea, and I am craving anything apple flavoured. There really is nothing better than enjoying a cup of tea on a cool fall morning. I’m particularly excited about this tea because of the Moringa. I’ve been meaning to do more research on the superfood so maybe this is the motivation I need. I’ve heard wonderful things about it but really want to get a good sense of the benefits myself.
Golf Ball by Rubbabu
The Rubbabu Golf Ball is a soft, velvety ball that bounces well on floors and carpets. Made from foamed natural rubber it’s squishy and safe for babies and toddlers. The tactile texture makes it fun to hold and engages kids for endless hours of active play.
This is so fun! I love that it is soft but still bouncy. It means baby can enjoy playing with it and you don’t have to worry about anything in the house getting damaged.
Facial Cleanser by Lyeska
Lyeska’s gentle facial cleanser combines the restorative properties of Siberian cedar nut oil with a beneficial blend of apple, burdock root and calendula to cleanse your skin without stripping away its natural oils, promoting anti-inflammatory, healing and soothing benefits and leaving your skin clean, soft and radiant.
I’m really looking forward to trying this. It’s made with cedar nut oil and I’ve had really great results with other oil-based cleansers in the past. It also contains calendula which happens to be one of my favourites when it comes to skincare.
Wish Body Butter by Glow for a Cause
A magical blend of sparkling light florals, white tea, and bergamot grounded by light musks. Glow for a Cause luxuriously rich body butter with nature’s best moisturizing oils of coconut, jojoba, sunflower and vitamin E, hydrates and protects the skin while leaving behind a sexy and lasting scent.
Wish Solid Perfume by Glow for a Cause
A magical blend of sparkling light florals, white tea, and bergamot grounded by light musks. Dazzling and concentrated solid perfumes are made with natural and organic oils and GLOW’s signature perfume blends.
Glow for a Cause is one of my all-time favourite brands when it comes to skincare. I discovered this brand a year or two ago and absolutely LOVE their products. I use their body butter, face cream and perfume on a daily basis. I actually just ran out of my body butter and was pretty sad about it. I really feel like this brand adds value to the box because their products are so amazing.
Ecocentric Mom Review September 2017 – Final Thoughts
This month’s Ecocentric Mom has a really nice mixture of Mom and Baby products. I love that the Mommy products have a Fall pamper vibe going on. Take some time to cleanse your face with a quality cleanser, make yourself a cup of apple tea, apply your body butter and get ready to embrace the day. In regards to the baby products we received one essential (baby wipes) and one playtime product. The box feels well-rounded and thoughtful. I think Ecocentric Mom is a really nice box for any Mom, whether your purchase it for yourself or as a gift.
