Elizabeth & Clarke Review Fall 2018
Colour-changing trees, pumpkin scented everything, and fall fashion. I honestly don’t think there’s a better combination! And speaking about fall fashion, the Fall 2018 Elizabeth & Clarke box is the perfect example of gorgeous fall fashion.
Before we talk about the contents of the fall box, you may not know what Elizabeth & Clarke is. Well let me tell you! Elizabeth & Clarke is a seasonal clothing subscription box that comes with up to three beautiful work-appropriate tops for women. And in each seasonal collection at least one of the shirts are made from Elizabeth & Clarke’s unstainable fabric! When you sign up for you box, you choose how many shirts you’d like to get for your plan. For instance one shirt is $60, 2 shirts for $50/ shirt, or 3 shirts for $40/shirt. After you choose the number of shirts you want to receive you pick your size and you’re basically good to go!
Okay, now that you’re all up to speed, let’s take a look at the Fall 2018 Elizabeth & Clarke box. For starters the clothes come packaged in the classic, and very sophisticated, Elizabeth & Clarke box. This box was longer than the previous ones I’ve received and I’m pretty sure that’s because there were sweaters in the box. Inside the box, each shirt is carefully wrapped in tissue and placed in it’s own protective pouch for perfect transport.
The Norcross
The first top in the collection is the Norcorss. I LOVE this top. First off it’s in a gorgeous emerald green colour and secondly it’s also made of Elizabeth & Clarke’s unstainable fabric. According to the brand it was inspired by the Irish countryside, and now I just want to go to Ireland and wear it. It’s seriously a beautiful top with its delicate ruffling detail down the neck and it’s lovely fit.
The Whitmore
Next up is the Whitmore. I describe this gorgeous Ivory top as a classic sweater with some twists. First up, is the neckline. I’m in love with the cut of this asymmetrical neckline – it’s very flattering. But my favourite part of this sweater has to be the the cuffs. With their slits it really creates a bell-like detailing on the cuffs. Overall it’s a gorgeous top you can wear with so many other pieces.
The Vera
Last but not least is the Vera. This sweater is totally business in the front and party in the back! Before I get into the detailing of the sweater, I have to say that the fabric is so incredibly soft and comfortable to wear. Now onto the back on the sweater, this also has a gorgeous asymmetrical aspect that adds a lot of dimension to the sweater. It also has beautiful pop of colour with a teal grosgrain ribbon that is straight from Japan. This is definitely another statement piece!
Overall Thoughts
The Fall 2018 Elizabeth & Clarke collection is the perfect addition of unique pieces for your wardrobe. Every item is SO well made, and the fabrics are excellent quality. This box is the perfect solution for any busy women who is looking to add in new classic yet trendy tops to her wardrobe each season. As for this collection, I can’t wait to pair these tops with some cute booties, a pea coat and my favourite scarf. Fall, I’m ready for you!
