Elizabeth & Clarke Review Summer 2016
Elizabeth & Clarke Review Summer 2016
Elizabeth & Clarke Review Summer 2016 – Fashion subscription boxes are my favourite, and they are few and far between. Clothing is a tough one to send via subscription, but at the same time it is SO much fun. I am very picky when it comes to clothing but I love the idea of someone else doing the shopping for me. It gets me out of my comfort zone, and it spices up my closet.

Elizabeth & Clarke is a seasonal subscription. While I always prefer for my subscription boxes to be monthly, I totally understand the bimonthly and quarterly subscription model. It’s A LOT of work to get a new box ready every 30 days. In regards to the shipping schedule, all boxes are shipped the 1st of the month. If the 1st of the month falls on a weekend or postal holiday, your box will ship out on the next available postal delivery day. Let’s have a closer look at the Summer tops:
The Ash is this season’s go-to piece for a chic summer look. This nautical inspired navy and white striped tee is made of a modal/cotton jersey blend . Paired with a skirt or your favourite jeans, the Ash will rock any boat party as well as captivate co-workers with your savvy style.
Stripes are ALWAYS a good idea! A striped top goes with pretty much everything, as does a striped dress, skirt, etc. This one is soft and comfy. I like the length (not too long) and the cuffs on the sleeves are cute. I am wearing a size 2 and it fits perfectly.
This beautifully constructed , white line tank is perfect for a dignified, effortless look. The Cadwell has a sophisticated French-front placket with working buttons. It can be paired perfectly with dress pants or casual shorts to give you that breezy “it-girl” factor and keep you cool in the Summer.
I am always looking for cute white shirts, they are a must-have for every closet. I always find myself reaching for one, whether it is a tank, a t-shirt or a long-sleeve. I LOVE the style of this one, and it fits perfectly, I just wish the material wasn’t so thin. I am wearing a nude bra, which you can’t really see, but you can see the waistline of my jeans.
The Dalton is that sharped, polished blouse missing from your wardrobe! This navy, Crepe de Chine blouse has a flat collar and a decorative draped piece on the side and back. The Dalton is an elegant, versatile piece that will impress at any client meeting or stun during a girls night out.
Now this is interesting. You can’t really see the draping in the photo because of the lighting, but it has a piece of material that drapes from the front, around the side, and hangs down in the back. I NEVER would have picked this out on my own, but I actually really like it. It’s classic and unique at the same time.
Elizabeth & Clarke Review Summer 2016 – Final Thoughts
As much as I loved my Spring box, the pieces in this box fit me much better. The Spring box was a little more dressy, and this box is a little more casual, I like the contrast. I think this is such a great subscription. The price is EXTREMELY reasonable, even with the shipping cost, and it’s the prefect way to freshen up your closet each season. All 3 tops fits me perfectly (size 2) and I will definitely be adding them into the Summer outfit rotation. You can’t for wrong for $20 per top! Love it!
