FabFitFun Welcome Box Review 2016
I feel like I just did a FabFitFun review…..well actually I did. My last review was the end of December and normally I only receive a box every 3 months. But today is a special day because I get to review their Welcome Box which will tide me over until my Spring Box gets here……can they just start shipping monthly already?

FabFitFun changed things up a bit for the Welcome Box and I’m wondering if we will also see these changes in the regular boxes going forward. They used a separate box for shipping, which is something I love to see….mostly because the actual box doesn’t get damaged in the shipping process. You are probably starting to wonder what exactly the Welcome Box is…..well, due to the fact that they are already sold out of their Winter Box, they decided to offer a box full of all their favourite items which new subscribers will receive in place of the sold out Winter Box……sounds like a great idea to me.
Wren 14kt Gold-Dipped and Black Saphire Necklace ($100) – This is one of the items from their Summer 2015 box. I received the moon pendant in my Summer box, but I definitely prefer the heart. It is absolutely gorgeous. I will be wearing this a lot.
Passport to Beauty Tibetan Goji Berry Eye Serum ($88) – This is an item from their Winter 2014 box and I am a HUGE fan. I was actually really excited to see this in their Welcome Box because I use it on a regular basis and am almost out.
Frends “The Donna” Earbud ($80) – These were included in their Winter 2015 and just happen to be one of my all-time favourite items from FabFitFun. I am slightly obsessed with earbuds and keep a pair with me at all times. These ones not only work well but they are cute at the same time…..bonus.
Gorge Daily Spray ($24.95) – This is another item from their Summer 2015 box and one of the few items I haven’t tried yet. It claims to add shine, restore moisture, and repair damage, so I’m not quite sure why I haven’t tried it yet……I will be sure to now.
Cosmobody Jump Rope ($14) – This is yet another item from their Summer 2015 box and out of all the fitness type items we have received it is probably my favourite. Now that I have two I will probably keep one in my gym bag and one at home.
Zoya Nail Polish ($9) – This is an item from their Summer 2014 box. I almost forgot that we received Zoya polish in one of our boxes because it was so long ago. You can never go wrong with nail polish and I happen to really like this brand because it is vegan and 5-free.
Organic Valley Protein Shake ($2.99) – FabFitFun usually includes one or two sponsored items in their boxes, and this is one of those items. Some people don’t like that they do this but I don’t have a problem with it at all. It’s nice to try out products like this, and why would I complain about receiving an extra item in a box???
Shoptiques Gift Card ($25) – I’m still not a fan of receiving gift cards in subscription boxes and probably never will be. I never end up using them so I kind of feel like they go to waste.
Thoughts: the FabFitFun Welcome Box promised to include all of their favourite items from past boxes, and I definitely think they delivered. With the exception of the gift card and sponsored item, I would consider these to be some of my favourite products from them as well. I use the eye serum on a daily basis, absolutely LOVE the earbuds, and think the necklace is gorgeous. Sometimes I feel bad for other subscription box companies because there’s no way they could ever top the value we receive in our FabFitFun boxes.
