Geek Fuel Review June 2017
Geek Fuel is a monthly mystery box of geeky goodness. Boxes will come packed with limited edition toys, collectibles, games, comics, stickers, buttons, and other fun stuff. While the contents vary by month, you will ALWAYS get an exclusive t-shirt and a full computer game (in the form of a Steam activation code) in your shipment. They kindly sent us this box for review.
This box… It’s fueling my geek. I am really starting to look forward to receiving this box every month! When Sarah gives it to me I always seem to think, ‘I dunno if I’ll get all the references…. Will I get excited about the content?’ And every month my inner geek surprises me and even exceeds expectations!
The in box magazine is such a good little flip read. I always think that what is on the cover of this will get featured in this month’s box, but that’s never the case! When does the Wonder Woman stuff come?!
Epic Enamels
One more lap around the Rainbow Road and these pins are going to be too pooped to push the gas pedal. Go single-player or trade for a dream team.
There is an Epic Enamel in every box! Well, at lease every Geek Fuel I’ve received. I think this one is my favourite! I played so much Mario Kart as a teenager that when I finally got behind the wheel of a real car all I wanted to do was attach three balloons to it and throw banana peels out my window. Anyone else?! Just me??… I’m ok with that.
Deponia Downloadable Steam Game
It’s hard out there for an elf. Especially an elf who wants to escape the garbage-strewn life of Deponia. Help save Rufus, would ya?
Love the game cards! This might be my favourite part of this subscription box. Having the ability to try out a new game each month is such a treat for us geeks! It’s also a nice change from the phone apps or counsel games.
Funko Mopeez: Guardians of the Galaxy Plush
With a surly raccoon or a monosyllabic baby tree by your side, what can’t you accomplish? Well, without the power of Star Lord, just a whole lot of cuddles. (Receive Rocket or Groot)
Yes! I LOVE that I received Groot! I just watched Guardians of the Galaxy this last weekend, at the drive in movie theatre no less.

There is nothing like vintage arcade games! I use to work for a company that had an arcade consul in the break room full of over 200 arcade classics. Most days I would forget to eat lunch for playing these games to death to try to beat out the top scores.

It may not be full of sports stats that can help you cheat at future betting houses, but this journal can keep safe pretty much anything else you want to write down.
I almost lost my mind when I saw this. Back to the Future is my all time favourite movie! It may take me months to decide what to use this journal for, because it’s just way too awesome for every day use!

This is such a cool poster! I haven’t received a poster with Geek Fuel yet and I have to say I’m surprised I haven’t gotten one sooner. I suppose the size of the box would hinder this. I use to be such a poster collector! I really appreciate the art style of this and the size and shape!
Geek Fuel June 2017 – Final Thoughts
I just love this box! I love everything about it. The exclusive magazine and t-shirt really set their brand off nicely. I love the consistency in what is provided; a pin, game card, tributes to the classic geeks as well as the geeks of today! Geek Fuel is so well-rounded, well thought out, and packed with value.
