Geek Fuel Review March 2017

Geek Fuel is a monthly mystery box of geeky goodness. Boxes will come packed with limited edition toys, collectibles, games, comics, stickers, buttons, and other fun stuff. While the contents vary by month, you will ALWAYS get an exclusive t-shirt and a full computer game (in the form of a Steam activation code) in your shipment. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Geek Fuel is a subscription box that has their crap together, sorry for the lack of vocabulary, but it’s true. They have put together a really great subscription box, and this is coming from someone who has absolutely no clue when it comes to geeky goodness. But what I do know is Geek Fuel is extremely professional, has great packaging, and a price point that can’t be beat.

Here’s a look at the items we received in the March box:

Geek Fuel Magazine

This is an item we receive every month. Inside you will find gamer corner, unboxing spotlight, gift guide and much more.

Inverse Universe Shirt

Just when you thought your favourite anthropomorphic tree was on his way out, he sprouts again with renewed vim and vigor. Helping along the way is his ever-present trash panda companion, and together they’re ready to make sure the galaxy is safe enough for even the sweetest soldiers.

Magical Elixir Lamp

Double bubble, toil and trouble! Light up your next experimentation with this exclusive elixir lamp. The color-changing light is perfect for setting the mood in your secret lab, just don’t try to drink this one.

Power Rangers Pin

What’s your mighty morphin’ power? Each pin comes with its own signature weapon, perfect for slaying those boring pins you found somewhere else. If you get March’s luck of the Irish, the limited edition green bot could be yours.

Guardians of the Galaxy Print

Throw on your favourite mix tape, grab your best friends, and admire this exclusive art print from Florey and Marvel. While either one will look rad hanging on your wall, the green print is super limited. Trade or find both and make it a set.

Starward Rogue Steam Game

Meander through roguelite catacombs of The Megalith in search of the Al redshirt known as….Rodney? Multiple levels of difficulty, dozens of bosses, and hundreds of items, enemies, and rooms make this game a must-play.

Geek Fuel Review March 2017 – Final Thoughts

Geek Fuel really has something great going on. Not only is their box extremely professional and reasonably priced, but they also include a lot of limited edition and exclusive gamer goodies that add a ton of value to the subscription. By including exclusive items they are giving subscribers something they wouldn’t be able to get outside of the subscription. This is a genius idea! I like that they also include rare items (limited edition green bot pin, super limited green Guardians of the Galaxy print) and encourage you to collect all of them or trade with friends. This creates a fun community and gets subscribers involved in the process. Geek Fuel is setting the bar, and I absolutely love that!

XOXO
