Geek Fuel Review October 2017

Geek Fuel is a monthly mystery box of geeky goodness. Boxes will come packed with limited edition toys, collectibles, games, comics, stickers, buttons, and other fun stuff. While the contents vary by month, you will ALWAYS get an exclusive t-shirt and a full computer game (in the form of a Steam activation code) in your shipment. They kindly sent us this box for review.

We received our October box a little late but wanted to show it to you anyways because they really put together a great box this month.

Subscription Details

The Box: Geek Fuel

Cost:

  • $29.90 per month – Canada
  • $24.90 per month – US

What You Get: Your boxes will come packed with limited edition toys, collectibles, games, comics, stickers, buttons, and other fun stuff. While the contents vary by month, you will ALWAYS get an exclusive t-shirt and a full computer game (in the form of a Steam activiation code) in your shipment.

Each box comes with an issue of Geek Fuel Magazine. We are on to issue #33. It includes features, reviews, gift guides and more! They did something really cool with the magazine this month and made the inside and outside covers 3-D. The magazine also has a strong focus on Halloween which makes me really happy.

Now on to the products……

Pac-Bat Magnet Set

They’re either here to uphold justice and cute dog pictures, or chase you around the side of the fridge where the grocery list lives. Regardless, they’re excited to get out of the city.

Epic Enamels Horror Edition

Scary? Sort of. But in the way that it’s totally okay to have these pins when you’re young, but only because you have no idea what the Cryptkeeper is actually keeping in his creepy crypt.

This made me laugh. I plan on giving this month’s pin to my nephew and my first thought was…..he is going to have NO clue what this pin is all about, but he is going to love it anyways. Me on the other hand, I am very familiar with the Cryptkeeper.

October Things Waffle Pack

We’re always wondering if there was something else to those frozen waffles eleven snacks on, and this air freshener/coffee cup/shirt combo proves our suspicions were well-founded.

LOVE the packaging. So unique and original. It definitely adds another element of surprise to the subscription when you get to open a box within a box.

Death by Gameshow Steam Game

Welcome to the game where you must help U.H. Wutt to prove that not all humans are ignorant, and free him from the rehab nightmare he’s been living for far longer than he wanted to.

Eleven of Waffles Exclusive TEE

Sometimes the card you draw isn’t exactly the card you wanted. Eleven can attest to that, with this playing card that features both the brave adventurer and the dark ruler of the Upside Down. It’s the perfect shirt for your next campaign, whether that means a good D&D session or a journey into another world.

Geek Fuel Review October 2017 – Final Thoughts

Geek Fuel continues to impress me month after month. I can’t get over the price point compared to the value we receive. It’s absolutely amazing. I’m also pretty impressed with their packaging skills. They create an experience for subscribers every single time. The attention to detail is unlike any other subscription in the geek/gamer category. I absolutely LOVE the horror/Halloween theme for the October box. I just wish I would have received it prior to October 31st because it would have made the unboxing experience ten times more fun. But…..I always says better late than never. Geek Fuel is definitely at the top of our list for Geek/Gamer boxes.

XOXO
