Gentleman’s Box Review April 2018
Gentleman’s box is a monthly subscription that delivers 4-6 curated items to your door every month. Each box is designed after the noteworthy gentleman, and this months box is no exception! This month you can expect to receive some high-quality items which will not only keep you looking dapper, but give you tips and tricks to make sure you uphold the gentlemen legacy.
Before I get into the items, the first thing that you see when you open the box is one of their Gentleman’s post. This not only talks about each item and how to style them but the inspiration behind each one. It also highlights tips and principles that gentlemen should follow to ensure that they look sharp, but set a great example to others around them.
They also feature some influencers who’ve styled their items in the past month’s box! Bonus points if you can spot my photo!

Deo Veritas – Tie, $35
The first item out of the box is this amazing tie from Deo Vertas. Deo Veritas uses the highest quality fabrics and expert tailors to deliver you with products that will keep you looking sharp! I absolutely love the simple look of this tie. Not only does the dark green go with almost any neutral or earth tone colour, but the polka dots give it that extra flare. Match this with a navy or khaki suit and your set to turn heads in the office!
THIRTY6IX GOLF CO. – Socks, $15
One of my favourite things to do it match my accessories. Well, this months box made it so much easier by including green argyle socks that go great with the tie! THIRTY6IX GOLF CO. specializes in golf apparel, so you know that these socks will get you through the day without breaking a sweat! These socks go great with a pair of brown oxfords or loafers, and would be great paired with a light coloured pair of chinos or jeans!

A.K. Timepieces – Leather Watch, $59
Going off again of how I love to match my accessories, this watch does just that! Not only does the green face go amazingly well with the tie and socks, but the simple, elegant look of it is sure to impress anyone. Receiving this watch is another reason why I love the Gentleman’s Box! you can always expect high quality items but an incredibly great deal!
The Vintage Gentleman – Flask, $35
Being a gentleman does include having drinks on occasion, and this flask made that experience so much better! I’ve owned my fair share of flasks in the past but this one has them beat in terms of looks and quality. The fact that its leather wrapped with the companies logo embossed into it makes it something I’ll look forward to pulling out when I want to impress my friends.
Gentleman’s Box – April 2018 Overall thoughts
As a regular subscriber to monthly subscriptions boxes, I can say without a doubt that Gentleman’s Box never stops to impress me! From the coordination of each item in the box to the catalogue with insightful tips and tricks to uphold gentleman’s values, this box is truly amazing! This box makes looking good easy, and all that for a super affordable price! If you really want to up the ante, however, they do offer a high-quality box for $100. But if you want to see what you would get in that, you’ll have to visit their website yourself (and be in awe of how much amazing stuff they offer). So if you’re in the market to explore new brands or add new items to your wardrobe I highly recommend this box!
