Gentleman’s Box Review June 2019

Gentleman’s Box has been around for quite some time. In fact, if I remember correctly, it was the first men’s subscription box I reviewed. Is it weird that I still remember the first box I received? That was a LONG time ago. I was impressed with it back then and I continue to be impressed with it today.

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the June Classic Box….

June Theme

This month’s Gentleman’s Box is honouring our favorite “Duke of Cambridge”. I’m pretty sure we all know who they are referring to. But if you don’t, they provide a few clues in their product booklet.

The Dapper Cats Plaid Tie ($23)

First up we have our tie. If you are new to Gentleman’s Box we usually always receive a tie. This one fits the theme perfectly and it’s definitely a classic. This is a tie that won’t go out of style anytime soon.

The Dapper Cats Pocket Square ($10)

Next we have a pocket square and it complements the tie perfectly (as per usual). I love the look of pattern mixing and that’s exactly what we get with this tie and pocket square combo.

Northern Sole Socks ($14)

Love, love, love these socks. And I love the way they look with the tie. Argyle is a classic pattern, so just like the tie, these won’t go out of style anytime soon.

W.M Marrison Rose Gold Watch ($60)

This is the kind of item that gets me very excited. It always feels like a special treat when boxes include something like this. It’s a quality item, we don’t receive watches very often and it’s a great addition to any suit collection.

Gentlemen of the North Lapel Pin $15)

This lapel pin is unlike any I have received before. They did an amazing job curating the box this month because this lapel pin pulls all the other pieces together……in my personal opinion.

Gentleman’s Box Review June 2019 – Final Thoughts

In addition to the regular theme this month (noteworthy gentleman) I am also sensing an underlying theme for the box, and for the subscription as well – classic. Gentleman’s Box is a classic. They have been around for quite some time, they are consistent in their offering, and they provide great value. They items we received in the June box can also be considered classics. Classic patterns, classic colors and classic accessories. I continue to be impressed.
