GlobeIn Artisan Box Review November 2017: Snug

GlobeIn Artisan Box is a monthly subscription box featuring favorite products from global artisans. Each box is curated around a monthly theme selected by the editor with the aim of helping you experience new and interesting products and cultures. They kindly sent us this box for review.

We recently reviewed the first of two November Artisan Boxes from GlobeIn and now we are back with the second box for the month of November. I have to say, I was really looking forward to the Snug Box. I saw the full spoilers and was really happy to see a mixture of cozy, winter-worthy items. I think this is going to be a favourite.

Here’s a closer look at the November Snug Box…..

The Snug Box tends to the creature in you that seeks earthly comfort. The items in this box appeal to all the senses, or, in the case of your eye mask, simply lets them rest, freeing the mind to wander to happy pastures.

Hand-Crocheted Beanie, Uganda and Peru, One size fits most (Retail $30) *Assorted Colors

You know that delicious snuggly feeling of being under the covers on a cold, early morning? Ever wish you could take that feeling with you throughout the day? Happily, when the head is snuggled, the whole body feels that way. Your new beanie, oh so thick and soft, is just the ticket to feeling snugglicious, whether you’re on the couch or out and about.

Suggested Use: Occasionally, hand wash cold and hang dry in the shade.

First up we have this adorable little beanie. I was actually quite surprised to see I had received white, it’s absolutely gorgeous. I’m not sure what other colors subscribers could have received but I am very happy with mine.

Pair Of Mugs, Palestinian Territories, 4″ x 3″ (Retail $15 each)

The ornate floral design of your new set of mugs is an aesthetic staple of Palestinian heritage, curlicuing its way through mosques, homes and clothing for thousands of years. Shards of ancient pottery even bear floral patters similar to their design.

Suggested Use: Curl up with a hot drink and a friend!

Eeek!!! This is what I have been waiting for! I was hoping to see a set of mugs in one of my GlobeIn boxes and here they are. I rave about this ceramic pattern all the time. I think it is so beautiful. I have a collection of mugs and always have one sitting beside me on my desk. This really is the perfect item for a cozy themed box.

Eye Mask, Malaysia (Retail $20) *Assorted Colors

Batik Boutique artisans hand-dye and print all of their lovely fabrics. Committed to a low-waste operation, the artisans wanted to upcycle their remnant fabric to create a new product for GlobeIn. They’ve chosen to send you the precious gift of a little sensory deprivation. Indulge in cutting off some of that endless stimuli inundating your brain and allow yourself to simply float.

Suggested Use: Machine wash cold, individually at first, and then with like colors, warm iron if needed.

I’m not as excited about this item, but that’s only because it’s something I won’t use. I love the look of it and I love the way it was made, I just would have preferred a different item fitting with the theme.

Organic Dark Chocolate Caramel Crunch With Sea Salt, Dominican Republic, 3.5oz (Retail $3.75)

If I remember correctly, we have received this delicious little chocolate bar before, and if I remember correctly, I absolutely loved it! There’s nothing more comforting than a warm cup of coffee and a couple pieces of yummy chocolate.

GlobeIn Artisan Box Review November 2017: Snug

How can you not love a box with a cozy theme?! The word Snug alone puts a smile on my face. I love all cozy and snuggly things. GlobeIn thought of a great theme for the month of November and they included some gorgeous products. Of course, I am most excited about the mugs, but that should come as no surprise. We could have only received those and I would have been happy. The Snug Box is actually very similar to the Cozy Box they released quite some time ago. I wasn’t able to get my hands on that one and I’m still upset about it. But enough about boxes of the past, I just want to enjoy the items in front of me…….and enjoy I will.

XOXO
