GLOSSYBOX is one of the original beauty boxes. But I have mentioned that before. They have been shipping boxes since 2011 which means they have been in business longer than 95% of the subscription boxes out there. That should tell you something. It means they know what they are doing and that they offer a pretty amazing subscription.

When you sign up for a GLOSSYBOX subscription you can choose from the following options:

Every month you will receive a selection of five beauty treats that include niche, high-end, and emerging brands.
They source products from all over the world—to bring you the absolute best in beauty. With over 400 brands in their repertoire.

This is a must-have product for any summer beauty box. Hair takes a beating in the summer months thanks to the dry air, hot weather and days spent at the beach or in the pool. I make an effort to condition my hair more often this time of year so this first product will come in handy.
JOHN MASTERS ORGANICS HAIR SPRAY
A light, citrus scent leaves you free to rest your head on your man’s shoulder without worrying about the smell of a hair salon turning him off. Plus, the non-sticky, touchable hold is perfect for someone’s fingers to be run through. Get the shine you want and the beneficial nutrients your hair needs.
I love the fresh, citrus scent of this hair spray. I also love that it’s non-sticky. I don’t use hair spray often but I do like to have it on hand and I also like to have one in my travel bag. GLOSSYBOX suggests giving damp hair good spritz before you start styling for a firmer hold.
KUESHI FACIAL MAKE UP REMOVER
The worst look is the one when makeup is running down your face. Now, you can wear your long-lasting look for a dip in the ocean without having to painfully scrub it off at night. The two-part routine uses soft oils to remove even waterproof makeup and lotion to leave you feeling fresh and clean.
A make up remover that will even work on waterproof makeup? This is exactly what I need. GLOSSYBOX suggests using a q-tip dipped in the remover to get hard to reach areas like under you lower lashes.
NCLA SO RICH CUTICLE OIL IN MERMAID TEARS
In addition to dry hair I also suffer from dry hands and dry nails during the Summer months. GLOSSYBOX says that this oil will even prolong the life of your manicure so don’t worry about applying the oil to your polished nails.
SKINN COSMETICS INFUSION RECOVER & RENEW SINGLE-USE FACIAL MASKS
Tans fade, but the harm from that sexy, summer glow can last long past fall. Give your skin some TLC with this restorative facial mask. Soaked in nutrients like lavender, tamarind seeds and dried apples, it also uses lactic acid for mild exfoliation and Vitamin C to help skin appear revitalized.
I have received these masks before and was quite happy with the results. I definitely noticed that my skin was moisturized and revitalized after use. I like to keep a few sheet masks on hand for days when my skin needs a little extra TLC.
IT’S SKIN MINI MACARON LIP BALM
Have your dessert and keep your summer body too. Inside the perfectly packaged macaron is a moisturizing nourishment to make your lips as tantalizing as your tan. Warning: vitamin derivatives and fruit extracts will make your lips healthy but don’t count for your daily dose of healthy eating.
First of all, how cute is this little teal lip balm! But in addition to being adorable, it also smells amazing. Just like green apples. It goes on clear and subscribers could have received different flavours.
GLOSSYBOX Review July 2018 – Final Thoughts
One of the things I have been loving most about GLOSSYBOX lately is the monthly themes. They are subtle and not too over the top. Take the July box for example, it has a sea theme and includes summer-inspired goodies. From the box design, to the colors, and the products tucked inside. There’s a sublet summer vibe which makes the box that much for fun to open. The detangler is perfect for dry summer hair, the cuticle oil will keep my nails moisturized, the hair spray will help your locks stay in place, the face masks will revive tired skin and the lip balm will keep my lips soft. A great mixture of beauty products as per usual.
