Harrison Blake Apparel Review July 2017

Harrison Blake Apparel is a monthly subscription for the dapper gentleman. Each box contains a necktie and 4 additional accessories, each of which are exclusive only to Harrison Blake Apparel. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Harrison Blake Apparel is one of the men’s subscription boxes we get to review on a regular basis. We find this box to be very consistent and of great value. They focus on their own line of suit accessories, so that is something to keep in mind when trying to decide which men’s box to subscribe to.

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the July box:

Harrison Blake Tie ($30)

This yellow foulard necktie is perfect for Summer. It’s a unique pattern, and bright color combo. It would look great with navy or brown.

Harrison Blake Pocket Square ($20)

This one threw me off a bit. I don’t really see the cohesion with this particular item. I love the camo pattern, and the color combo, but I would have been more excited if it paired with the necktie.

Harrison Blake Anchor Bracelet ($15)

Men’s bracelets are very trendy right now. I have received this style before, but never with a white cord. It definitely gives off a Summer vibe.

Harrison Blake Gold Collar Bar ($15)

I was introduced to collar bars a few months back and fell in love with the idea. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this nifty little accessory, it is similar to a collar pin which keeps the collar in place and lifts the knot to provide a more aesthetically pleasing arc to the necktie.

Harrison Blake Silk Knot Cufflinks ($5)

Silk cufflinks aren’t my favourite, but I appreciate receiving them nonetheless. I definitely prefer the silver or gold variety but these yellow links pair perfectly with the tie.

Harrison Blake Keychain ($4)

Here we have just a fun little extra item. I like to see these kind of items in my men’s boxes from time to time.

Harrison Blake Apparel Review July 2017 – Final Thoughts

The July Harrison Blake Apparel collection leaves me with mixed feelings. I love the Summer vibe it gives off, and the yellow accessories are fun and upbeat, but the camo pocket square seems a little out of place. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some camo print, but I would have been more excited if the pocket square was paired with a tie and cufflinks that matched the color scheme. Overall we received great value, and I appreciate the brightly coloured tie, but I would have to rate this box a 7 out of 10 due to the lack of cohesion. Nonetheless, this is still a really great men’s subscription box. The total value of this months box is $89 which is pretty amazing if you ask me.
