Holly Journals Review October 2016

I officially have a new favourite subscription box, and it is Holly Journals. I had never heard of this subscription prior to this review, and didn’t really know a lot about it. I didn’t have time to research it before opening the box, so I was extremely surprised to discover such cute items inside. I definitely wasn’t expecting all this cuteness. I am in love with this subscription and can’t wait to show you what I received in the October box.

October Journal

Sorry for the picture overload, but I had to show you a few different views in order for you to fully appreciate how dang cute this journal is. I am obsessed! I love everything about it. How cute are the different patterns, textures, page sizes and seasonal quotes! This is hands down, the cutest journal I have ever seen.

Journal Charm

Ok, seriously, how cute is this charm? It goes with the journal perfectly. Normally I’m not a fan of charms and embellishments, but I love the way this one looks when attached to the coils.

Bonus Items – Hot Cocoa & Candy Sticks

Each month subscribers receive a bonus item. This month we received hot cocoa mix and candy sticks. The welcome card says –  “Snuggle up with your favourite fuzzy blanket and a warm cup of cocoa, take a lick from a candy stick and let your thoughts fall like the leaves….and write. Just write.”

Dark Pen – Light Pen – Graphite Pencil

I feel like they have thought of everything. Some of the pages in the journal are darks autumn colors so I love that they included a white pen. I tested out both pens and really like the way they write. I am super picky with my pens so that says a lot coming from me. I’m also very intrigued by the graphite pencil. I’ve never used one before.

Journal Prompts

Oh my goodness, what a cute idea! I feel like I am abusing the word cute, but I just can’t help it. I’m not the best when it comes to journaling so I appreciate the fact that they include journal prompts. This little list is perfect for someone like me. I have no problem writing, but sometimes I need a little help getting started.

Oh my goodness…..I am in LOVE with this subscription. I can’t get over how dang cute it is. I love everything about Holly Journals. I love that the journal has a theme, I love that it isn’t a book of plain old lined paper, I love that it comes with a matching charm, I love that they include pens and pencils, and I love that they create an experience – cozy blanket, cup of cocoa, sweet treat, and a night of journaling. I want to curl up and start journaling right now. Holly Journals has officially secured a spot in my top ten favourite subscription boxes list. Cutest subscription box EVER!
