Here’s a closer look at the items I received for the month of August…

JoahBox is celebrating their 2nd anniversary this month! Yay! It’s awesome to see a Korean beauty box continuing to thrive and grow.

Included in every box is a mini pamphlet detailing all of the products featured each month. You’ll get in-depth descriptions and instructions (in English, of course)!

Aminow Body Scrub – $2.50

The first item this month is a single-use body scrub pod from the brand Aminow. The body scrub is a mixture containing salt from the Mediterranean Sea and amino acid oils. Not only is it super gentle on the skin, but it’s also effective in buffing away rough spots and dead skin cells. After massaging this onto my body, I’m left with baby soft skin!

Get It Beauty CeLABrity Aqua Mask – $4

Get It Beauty started off as a popular Korean beauty TV show, and now they’re creating some of their own beauty products! This sheet mask is made out of a cellulose material that’s smooth, but thin enough to really hug onto your face. The Aqua Mask contains “triple hyaluronic acid” and a “multi seaweed complex” for intensive moisture and reinforced vitality!

W.Lab Selfie Velvet Lip Tint – $15

The W.Lab Selfie Velvet Lip Tint is the only makeup item this month, and it’s a good one! This is a lip tint with a velvety soft whipped formula. It’s ultra lightweight and blends out onto the lips for a soft finish. Subscribers will receive one of the following four shades: #01 Red Boom, #02 Mild On, #03 Soft Holic, or #04 Mood Look.

Commleaf Green Tea Oil Blotting Paper – $4

Blotting Paper is a must-have staple in my purse, so I was glad to see the Commleaf Green Tea Oil Blotting Paper included this month. The thin blotting sheets are composed of green tea extracts that will help absorb excess sebum from the skin without disturbing any makeup!

Kicho Pack Brush – $18

The Kicho Pack Brush features a gold handle and synthetic bristles in the shape of a paddle. It’s the perfect shape and size to apply face and clay masks onto the skin.

Commleaf Surely Green 100 Face Oil – $35

JoahBox included a sample of the Commleaf Surely Green 100 Face Oil in the March 2019 box, and I LOVED it. I’m so glad they included the full size version this month! Commleaf is a clean Korean skincare brand that focuses on using pure and natural ingredients. This face oil contains a plethora of different kinds of natural oils including Sunflower, Jojoba, Meadowfoam, Sweet Almond, Avocado, Olive, Camellia, and Bitter Orange. It sinks right into the skin giving it a drink of lightweight hydration!

JoahBox also included two Kicho sample packets for subscribers to try out the Ultra Moisturizing Sun Cream and the Correct Control Cream! These items may be featured in upcoming boxes if they receive a lot of good feedback.

JoahBox Review August 2019 – Final Thoughts

After a few lackluster months, JoahBox finally comes back with a big bang for their 2nd anniversary box! This month contained all new items including a mixture of skincare, makeup, beauty tools, and even body care. Though some of the items are one-use or a little small to be considered “full-size”, there’s at least 2-3 stand out products/brands that makes this box worth it. My favorite items this month is the luxe Commleaf Surely Green 100 Face Oil and the W.Lab Selfie Velvet Lip Tint!
