You’ll see a mixture of popular brands, as well as new/indie beauty brands that are harder to get your hands on in the US. JoahBox kindly sent me their March box to review.

Here’s a closer look at the items I received for the month of March…

Included in every JoahBox is a mini pamphlet detailing all of the products featured each month. You’ll get in-depth descriptions and instructions (in English, of course)!

Pony Effect Stay Put Eye Stick – $16

Pony Effect is one of my favorite Korean beauty brands EVER (partly because I’m obsessed with Pony herself). I know and love the Stay Put Eye Sticks, and I’m happy I received a new-to-me shade, #Be Dazzling. The Stay Put Eye Stick is a skinny eyeshadow crayon with a smooth gel formula that applies and blends easily on the lids. However, once it sets, it doesn’t smudge or budge!

Milimage Water Rising Tint – $12

The Water Rising Tint comes in a frosted case with a faux-lipstick bullet design. It’s actually a liquid lip tint with a hydrating, glossy finish. It’s definitely a winner in my book! The lip tint has a sheer, but ultra-pigmented formula that’s as lightweight as water. It makes my lips look so juicy and plump! Plus, #02 Tomato Crush Red is a vibrant red that’s perfect for spring/summer.

Here are swatches of the Pony Effect Stay Put Eye Stick in #Be Dazzling and the Milimage Water Rising Tint in #02 Tomato Crush Red.

The Plant Base White Truffle Turn Over Peeling – $13

I love using peeling gels and the White Truffle Turn Over Peeling by The Plant Base is a new favorite! It is formulated with 81.35% Ginseng extract water, apricot seeds, natural cellulose, and white truffle. It has a smooth gel consistency that’s very gentle on the skin and the apricot seeds are few and sparse (so it’s not rough on the skin). When applying, it mildly buffs away dead skin cells without causing any harsh damage to the skin. I’m left with baby-soft skin, improved skin texture, and a brighter tone. Plus, it comes in a travel-friendly 50ml squeeze tube, which is nice size considering you’ll only want to use it once or twice a week.

The2ndaid Azulene Calming Cream – $15

Azulene is an organic compound derived from chamomile. It’s a calming ingredient that has anti-inflammatory properties to soothe the skin. The Azulene Calming Cream has a cooling gel-cream texture that can be used to provide quick and effective relief for all skin types, especially those with troubled or irritated skin. It helps minimize redness overnight, and it gives me a more balanced complexion!

Dr.Gloderm Eye Mask Night – $3

The Eye Mask Night is a clear hydro-gel eye mask with star-shaped glitter embedded into the gel. It’ll definitely make you want to take a sheetmask selfie to show it off! Not only is it super cute, but it’s also hydrating for my entire eye area. It left my skin feeling softer and more supple!

Commleaf Surely Green 100 Face Oil – $4

Lastly, JoahBox included a sample of the Commleaf Surely Green 100 Face Oil to see if subscribers would like to receive a full-sized version in an upcoming box. I vote YES! I love all types of facial oils and this one is 100% natural, lightweight, and it makes my complexion GLOW.

JoahBox Review March 2019 – Final Thoughts

I don’t know how JoahBox does it, but each month just keeps getting better and better! This month, we receive a balanced mix of both skincare and makeup products. Plus, we received products from Pony Effect, a super popular beauty brand, as well as newer and not-so-mainstream Korean beauty brands. I’ve become a huge fan of Milimage, The Plant Base, and The2ndaid thanks to JoahBox, and I’m always excited to try new things from these brands.

I loved everything in this months box! It’s such a rare feat for subscription boxes, but it’s not surprising coming from JoahBox.
