Adventure Series #2 Details
Adventurers join the Loops Crew, then Pinky and Bounski as they travel to 1920’s Russia, where they meet Russian-American scientist, Dr. Alexander Maximov and learn about Stem Cell research and the skeletal system.
Today we are taking another look at Adventure Series #2. I am very familiar with this series, I loved it the first time around, and am very excited to be reviewing it again. It’s all about the skeletal system and I LOVE the way they have made it fun and exciting for children to learn about. I wish I would have had this kit when I was going through my fitness training. I had to remember every bone in the body……not an easy task.
Know Yourself Backpack
The items in Adventure Series #2 come in this awesome backpack. It makes me think of my nephew, he would LOVE this.
Time Skaters Comic, Issue 2: “Bone Voyage” (36 pages)
Every adventure series includes the Time Skaters Comic. Follow the characters as they travel around the world. Such a great learning experience.
Adventure Guide Booklet (24 pages)
The Adventure Guide includes fun activities, learning experiences, recipes, and more. This will provide hours of entertainment and learning opportunities for your child.
Know Yourself build-your-own Skeleton
This is by far my favourite item in the box. This makes it so much more exciting to learn about the skeletal system. I definitely could have use this during my training.
Know Yourself Playing Cards
And this is my second favourite item in the box….maybe tied for first. Card games and flash cards in one. How can you not love these?
Sticker Sheet & Bone Pen
The bone pen is a nice little touch. I remember loving stuff like this when I was young……and stickers are always a good idea.
Know Yourself Adventure Series Review – Final Thoughts
I love the idea of a children’s subscription box that provides learning experiences. I find this so much better than just a box of “stuff”. The Know Yourself Adventure Series will get your child thinking about their body and how it works. It will also teach them about different countries and it will get them out and about while they do the different activities.
