The fact that I have been reviewing this box for a few years and still get excited to see it arrive in the mail should tell you something. It should tell you that Little Life Box is a really great subscription. When you review boxes day in and day out you learn how to spot the good from the bad pretty quickly. And Little Life Box is definitely one of the good ones. Come to think of it, it’s probably the most popular Canadian subscription box in our directory.

Almond Butter – Snack Pack – Barney Butter
The “original” Barney Butter, created as a healthier alternative to peanut butter, we call it the “gateway” almond butter. This is THE one that will get that stubborn peanut butter lover to make the healthy swap. The secret? Their signature move – a “blanched” almond!
I’m trying to limit my peanut intake as much as possible, which means nut butter is a staple in my house. I am all too familiar with this brand and usually reach for it over other similar brands. These little packets are perfect for on-the-go. Throw them in the road trip snack bag with some apples or crackers and you are good to go!
Coffee – Lush – Ethical Bean
Don’t let it’s delicate name fool you, this coffee gets the job done. This blend is full and rich with notes of fruit, smoke and earth.
I’m seriously contemplating getting rid of my Keurig and replacing it with a Breville. If/when that does happen I am going to need to stock up on quality coffee beans. Long story short, I am super happy to see this in the box. Maybe I need to browse the Breville website sooner than later.
Sol Good Protein Bar – SunWarrior
You’re always in motion. Fuel that active life with 17 to 19 grams of plant-based protein per bar. Made with healthy, organic ingredients that taste like sunshine and joy. If you aren’t sure what those taste like, we make it clear with our flavour lineup.
I am always happy to test out new plant-based protein bars. It’s actually quite hard to find a good one.
Energy & Hydration Sport Beverage – Pro Circuit Endurance
This energy & hydration sport beverage is made in Canada and contains electrolytes, vitamins and minerals to replenish you before and while working out.
The warmer weather is upon us and I recently started running outside again. This means I need to up my hydration game ASAP. This will come in handy.
Konjac Pasta – NuPasta
NuPasta is a low calorie & gluten free pasta. The texture is chewy, similar to al dente pasta (firm to bite).
Oh my goodness!! This is exciting! Pasta is a must in our house seeing as the fiance is Italian, but I usually make a pot for him and something different for myself. Maybe I will be able to partake in the pasta fest from now on. This Konjac pasta sounds amazing and is low calorie!!
Lava Pumice Stone – Urban Spa
Cooled volcanic lava infused with magnesium, iron and oxygen make this a natural for exfoliating calluses, rough spots and build-up of dead skin. Use on damp feet daily to reveal the soft and smooth skin beneath.
These are the kind of items I like to see in Little Life Box – bath & body products. This arrived just in time for sandal weather.
Mag Pop – Orange Naturals
From Chlorophyll to Aloe Vera, we can’t help but love easy-to-use supplements that help make our busy lives better and healthier! This is why we LOVE this effervescent drink made of magnesium glycinate, vitamin c and electrolytes.
Here we have another product that will be perfect for my new hydration routine.
Nutrition Bar – Kilo Solution
I couldn’t find a product description for this one but it looks pretty darn good. It’s a seed and fruit bar which means it doesn’t contain nuts. It is quinoa, apricot, pineapple flavour and also includes crispy rice.
Pink Andean Sea Salt – Gogo Quinoa
Pink andean table salt from Bolivia. The non-treated pink salt is harvested at 3000 meters above sea level in the heart of the Andes Mountains. The unique and elegant pink color comes from the minerals and trace elements found in the pure ancient sea salt deposits.
I use a lot of sea salt when cooking and baking. I feel like I go through it faster than I should. Therefore, I am very happy to receive a bag to keep on hand as back-up.
Roasted Chickpeas – Maple Frosted – Three Farmers
Created by a Canadian company that also makes amazing cooking oils, these chickpeas are the perfect balance between savoury and sweet. Featuring their camelina oil, this snack is a tasty and crunchy snack that can be eaten straight out of the bag or added to many recipes. Just use your imagination!
Yes, yes, yes!! A full-size bag of roasted chickpeas. These make an amazing snack when you are craving something crunchy.
Little Life Box Review April 2018 – Final Thoughts
I don’t know about you but I try to be as healthy as I possibly can. I watch what I eat, stay away from sugar, exercise on a regular basis, and pay attention to the products I use on my body and to clean our house. But, with that being said, it isn’t always the easiest way to live. I am constantly having to research ingredients, look for new products, learn about new brands, etc….
This is where Little Life Box comes in. They send me a box full of healthy products every month. They introduce me to new brands, keep me up-to-date with the latest snacks and provide me with new bath and body products. They make living my healthy lifestyle a little easier and save me time and money. Time I would have spent researching and money I would have spent testing out products. Thank you Little Life Box for simplifying my life!
