Little Life Box Review October 2017

Little Life Box is a Canadian subscription box that gives you the opportunity to sample and experience new green, organic and health conscious products in a convenient and fun way that saves you money. Little Life Box kindly sent us this box to review.

I don’t know what it is about discovering new health conscious products, but I just love it! I could honestly spend hours in the health food store browsing up and down the aisles. I’ve said this before but Little Life Box is like a mini trip to the health food store, minus the driving time. What’s not to love?

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the October Vegan box……

Toothpaste – Auromère

Auromere’s highly effective line of Ayurvedic toothpaste combines the natural fibre PEELU with the astringent and invigorating properties of NEEM and 24 other barks, roots, plants and flowers which have been esteemed for centuries by Ayurvedic specialists for maintaining optimum dental hygiene. The all-natural botanical extracts and essential oils in Auromére Toothpaste are prized for their astringent, cleansing properties that help freshen breath and leave teeth feeling squeaky clean. In addition, Auromere Toothpaste contains no fluoride, gluten, artificial sweeteners, dyes or harsh chemicals commonly found in many toothpastes.

Natural toothpaste is in the same category as natural deodorant – the “hard to find’ category. I am always on the hunt for natural deodorant and natural oral hygiene products. Therefore, I love to see items like this in my Little Life Box.

Anti-Stress Tablets – A.Vogel

A proven remedy to relieve restlessness. USE: Take 1 tablet 3 times daily with water 30 minutes before meals.

This is one of the things I love about LLB. From time to time they include a bottle of natural supplements. Everyone gets a little stressed every now and then so I feel like this will be a good supplement for most subscribers.

Chocolate Chip Quinoa Cookie  – Gogo Quinoa

These crunchy cookies, made with quinoa flour, will win you over with their rich and chocolaty taste. These vegan and gluten free treats are individually wrapped in a recyclable enveloppe, making them an ideal option for lunchboxes!

Gogo Quinoa is one of my favourite brands when it comes to healthy snacks. They use organic royal quinoa flour to make their cookies and also include ingredients like chia seeds, kaniwa, and quinoa puffed grains.

Crystals – Samples – Pink Ice Energy

Pink Ice Energy is a completely new way to get your daily boost of vitamins, minerals and energy.   Each packet contains fast acting crystals that pop and dissolve releasing essential energy boosting supplements with only 5 calories. This unique dietary supplement uses a patent-pending gasified crystal technology to deliver an amazing, powerful yet balanced approach to both energy and health. Activated crystals also provide the added benefit of reducing odor causing bacteria while providing a fun and healthy experience. Fast, convenient and fun- it’s vitamins, energy and fresh breath in one.

Fruit & Nut Nibbles – Strawberries & Cream – Nakd

These bites are gluten, dairy, wheat & GMO free! Made with dates, cashews, raisins, rice flour and natural flavouring.

Eeek!!! I love these. I discovered them a couple months ago and they are my new favourite sweet snack. I try to avoid sugar so treats like this are a great way to satisfy my sweet tooth. They are sweetened with dates.

Almonds – Sample – Handfuel

Handfuel’s Spanish Marcona is nicknamed “The Queen of Almonds”. Rich in natural oils, Marcona almonds have a sweet, smooth & unique flavour.

I like to have almonds, cashews or mixed nuts on hand at all times. They are my go-to snack when I need a little boost in the afternoon.

Bath Bomb – Eden Organyx

This bath bomb is natural and vegan!  USE: add a bath bomb to a warm bath and sit back as it releases its elegant fragrance, moisturizing oil and muscle relaxing minerals.

Bath bombs are a nice way to feel pampered. I save them for one of “those days” and use them in the bath before bed……usually with a glass of wine or a hot cup of tea.

Mud Bath – Lavender – 100 ml – Black Oxygen
  • Calm sunburned skin
  • Calm irritated skin due to eczema and psoriasis
  • Provides a calm, peaceful feeling
  • Helps regulate sleep patterns
  • Helps fight jet lag
  • Reduces stress
Green Tea Primer – Evio

Prep and protect your skin with this hydrating, antioxidant rich, skin friendly formula made with Organic Green Tea! – It creates a smooth canvas for makeup application, reduces the look of lines and pores and will help your make-up last!

Rice Crackers – Laiki

These crackers are made with only 3 ingredients! They are also gluten-free, vegan and non-GMO.

If you are trying to avoid gluten these are a great little crunchy snack. I’ve had them many times before. They are really nice with hummus or salsa.

Little Life Box Review October 2017 – Final Thoughts

Little Life Box curates a really great box every month. They source new products as well as old favourites. They include a mixture of bath & body products, snacks, beverages, and supplements. It’s a really fun box to receive if you love health conscious products. You never really know what to expect and you always end up discovering something new. I maybe would have liked to see some sort of Fall themed product, but other than that I am a happy girl. The Fruit & Nut Nibbles did it for me. As soon as I saw those in the box I was sold. Can LLB include those little goodies more often?!

XOXO
