Love Goodly Review April/May 2017

With Love Goodly subscription boxes, discover products that are stylish, natural and eco-friendly — always cruelty-free and vegan. Every purchase supports a cause and you can shop your favorites in their ecommerce store. They kindly sent us this box for review.

I have to tell you, I’ve had my eye on this subscription for quite some time. One of my all-time favourite kind of subscription boxes to review are the ones that contain eco-friendly, cruelty-free products. I get very excited when I discover new vegan products, especially when they fall under the beauty category. I have a feeling Love Goodly is going to be my new favourite beauty subscription box.

Subscription Details

I spent some time on the Love Goodly website prior to this review and discovered the following “good to know” facts:

  • Love Goodly was started to help women make healthier choices, avoid toxins, go cruelty-free and support a cause.
  • 5% of each purchase always supports a cause.
  • They use twelve ‘eco’ labels so you can shop by what’s important to you. Each product they carry is labeled based on its attributes, from organic to supports charity.
  • LOVE GOODLY boxes ship every other month on or around the 5th day of the shipping month.

Here’s a look at the items we received in the April/May Box:

One Love Organics Love Springs Eternal Youth Preservation Serum ($75)

This luxuriously lightweight oil boasts some of Mother Nature’s most effective (and clinically proven) gifts: Blue Seakale, a marine plant, to soothe and revitalize; and protein-rich sea algae, to deeply moisturize for improved skin tonicity and firmness. Green tea, watermelon and jasmine oils easily absorb into skin for a super effective nighttime boost of emollient moisture. At the heart of this restorative elixir, Barbary Fig Plant Stem Cells and D’Orientine S, a botanical active extracted from date seeds, display strong youth preservation properties and help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

First of all I have to point out the fact that this item costs WAY more than the box itself. Already I am impressed with the value of my very first Love Goodly box. This is my kind of skincare product. I love the ingredients and love that 100% of them are from natural origin. It receives rave reviews on their website. I can’t wait to try it out myself.

PureSol Konjac Body Sponge ($12.99)

PureSOL Konjac Body Sponge gently exfoliates while deep cleansing and removing any toxins and impurities, leaving you with a radiant skin. It is extremely soft and gentle for everyday use.

I still haven’t jumped on the konjac sponge trend but I think it needs to happen. I have received these sponges a few times now and they get rave reviews. I have no clue why I haven’t started using one yet.

100% Pure Maracuja Mascara ($25)

100% Natural mascara colored from black tea leaves and infused with lash conditioning nutrients. Holds curls, lengthens and separates while creating luscious volume. Free of harmful toxins, chemicals or any other harsh ingredients.

I am beyond excited about this product. I have slowly been switching all of my makeup over to eco-friendly, natural versions and mascara was one of the last on the list. I love that this one is 100% natural and coloured from black tea leaves. I also really love this brand. It’s one of my all-time favourites.

100% Pure Bright Eyes Mask ($7)

Highly caffeinated eye mask brightens and de-puffs. Extremely hydrating, quenches thirsty skin with blast of water delivered to dehydrated skin cells. The mask material “hydrogel” is composed from 95% organic aloe water) and 5% plant cellulose made to intensely hydrate. The longer you leave the mask on your skin, the thinner the hydrogel mask becomes because the water gets absorbed. The hydrogel assists in delivering active ingredients onto your skin.

Eeek!! I have been waiting for an item like this to pop up in one of my subscription boxes. I LOVE eye masks but get creeped out by some of the ones that have an ingredient list as long as my arm. I am extremely careful about the skincare products I use and was hoping to discover an eye mask that contained natural ingredients. I have a feeling I am going to want to order more of these.

Juice Served Here – $10 Coupon

We also received a coupon code for Juice Served Here. I rarely use coupon codes from subscription boxes, but it’s a nice little bonus.

Love Goodly Review April/May 2017 – Final Thoughts

I am more than happy with my first Love Goodly box….I am in LOVE! I had a feeling I was going to like this subscription and I was right. Not only is it really great value, it’s also packed with quality brands and full-size products. I think Love Goodly is reasonably priced for what you get. Actually it’s more than reasonably priced…..it’s a steal!! While I was on their website I had a peek at some of their previous boxes and they all look wonderful. If you love cruelty-free beauty products as much as I do then you MUST check this box out. It’s going on the favourites list for sure.

XOXO
