Mama Bear Box Review #2 August 2017

Mama Bear Box is a monthly subscription introducing new moms to unique, stylish + useful baby products delivered to your door, giving each mom the opportunity to discover + support amazing mom-run small shops while making memories with their little ones. They kindly sent us this box for review.

This will be our second Mama Bear Box review for August as we also got to review the Toddler Box. Today we are looking at the Baby Box and it is pretty darn cute…..

When you sign up for a Mama Bear Box you have a few options to choose from:

• Baby Box – Baby Boxes are perfect for your littles ones aged 0-12 months. Inside each box you will find a selection of small shop products made by moms here in Canada. When selecting the age please consider the size of clothing your baby is currently wearing too as we often refer to this to know what size to order for your little one.
  • Select – gender, age and size
  • Order – 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months
• Toddler Box – Toddler Boxes are perfect for your littles ones aged 1& 2 years old. Inside each box you will find a selection of small shop products made by moms here in Canada. When selecting the age please consider the size of clothing your tot is currently wearing too as we often refer to this to know what size to order for your little one.

• Available in matching women’s pullover.
• If your keiki is in between sizes, please size up. 
• Partial proceeds donated to BC Children’s Hospital.

Oh my goodness. I am in love with this little tee. Not only is it cute, but it is made right here in BC, it is available in a matching women’s pullover and partial proceeds are donated to an amazing cause. Sadly the women’s pullover is sold out, hopefully they re-stock it soon because I need one in my life. You also need to check out their hats…….ah-mazing!!

Sleep Eyes Wall Decal by Feelin’ It Decals

Make your child’s wall come to life! Or get creative and paint a cloud or a raindrop and make it come to life with these sleepy eye wall decals.

Seriously, can this month’s box get any cuter!! I had to include a photo of these decals in action because they are WAY cuter once placed on the wall. Really……so stinkin’cute!! Photo is from the Feelin’ It Decals website.

Bibdana by Peach & Lulu

Our Lumberjack bandana bib is made with flannel and backed with a complimentary flannel for absorbency. All have adjustable snaps for your growing babes. Fits 3 months to 2 years and up. 

I am totally freaking out over here. I squealed when I saw this in the box because it is absolutely perfect!! This is my favourite pattern/fabric right now. I want a shirt to match this, and a scarf…….and anything else that can be made out of buffalo check material.

Candle by Wexford Candle Company

Lastly we have a coconut lime candle. But it’s not just any candle, it’s the most wonderful smelling candle I’ve ever had in my possession. Well, maybe not really, but it’s pretty darn close. This candle has the most amazing coconut scent with just the right amount of lime. If you are already missing Summer just burn this baby for a couple hours and you will be transported back to the lazy beach days of July & August.

Mama Bear Box Review #2 August 2017 – Final Thoughts

Ummm……this is the best baby box I have ever received!! It has my name written all over it, and I don’t even have children….yet. I am absolutely thrilled with every single product we received this month. The Toddler Box wasn’t my favourite, but the Baby Box more than makes up for it. And, I discovered some wonderful new shops as well. I am super excited about AlohaKai Apparel, I need to order one of their pullovers and one of their hats ASAP. The bib bandana from Peach & Lulu is the cutest thing ever, as are the Sleepy Eyes Decals. And the candle, well that just speaks for itself. If I could order this particular box in bulk, I would do it, and I would never be without a baby shower gift ever again!
