Here’s a closer look at the items I received for the month of July….

Per usual, the jewelry arrived in a cute nicely wrapped box with a mint blue ribbon and a matching wax seal of a mint mongoose! This personal touch to their subscription makes it feel like I’m receiving a gift rather than a subscription box.

Included in every monthly box is a piece of candy. So far, it’s always been a piece of Werther’s Original hard candy, which is my favorite!

Baby Blue Glitter Pendant Earrings

This month’s star pieces were inspired by the ocean. Included was a pair of long dangly earrings with a silver chain. The baby blue triangular pendants featured a sparkly multicolored glitter design that truly felt like it was crafted for a mermaid. These earrings tended to sway and turn often, so I do wish the baby blue glitter design was on both sides of the earrings (it’s only on the front side). Nevertheless, I’m glad that mintMONGOOSE started sending out longer earrings and not just studs like the last few months!

Baby Blue Glitter Pendant Necklace

The second piece of jewelry is a matching necklace with the same unique ocean blue design with multicolored sparkling flecks. The pendant itself is also shaped as a triangle, but it points in a different direction from the ones attached to the earrings. It’s a longer, adjustable necklace, which makes it a good piece to layer with. As always, I appreciate how mintMONGOOSE selects jewelry that will pair together each month so it’s easy to style them.

Adjustable Silver Chevron V-Shaped Ring

Yay! I’m happy to see another adjustable ring included in this subscription. I’ve been loving rings lately, but can rarely find ones to wear because I’m a size 4.5 and most rings are too big. Luckily, all the rings that mintMONGOOSE has included thus far have been adjustable! This silver ring is very simple and dainty, but the unique V-shaped/Chevron design gives it a modern flair.

mintMONGOOSE Review July 2018 – Final Thoughts

I’m pretty content with this month’s box and personally, I think these products complement each other a lot better compared to last month’s selection. The baby blue glittery design on the pendants is very fun, unique, and is a great summer piece! It’s inspired by the ocean, and it truly does give me a beach-y vibe. mintMONGOOSE does a nice job curating the jewelry selection so that each item would pair together harmoniously and easily. My favorite piece this month is the Adjustable Silver Chevron V-shaped Ring – I love how it’s simplistic, dainty, but also has a modern vibe to it. It goes with everything!
