September Theme – The Art Deco Collection
This month we were inspired to add a modern-day twist to a classic style. Inspired by the angles and colors of the art deco period. Popular in the 1920’s and 30’s. Art Deco was known at the time as modernistic. As a special added bonus we are also excited to introduce our new charmed collection to My Meraki Box members first!
Here’s a look at the gorgeous pieces we received in this month’s collection…..
An angular Art Deco inspired sterling silver bar necklace.
Love, love, love!! This necklace is absolutely perfect. It is simple, pretty, fun, and classic all at the same time. I can see myself wearing this a lot. I really love the look of a bar necklace and until now I didn’t have one of my own.
We used your color selection for this month to create a double beaded bracelet set, accented with angular CZ beads for a bit of bling. This bracelet set is finished with faceted black onyx and quartz.
I really love it when they include bracelet sets. If I am going to wear beaded bracelets I prefer the look of two as opposed to one…..three is even better. So luckily, the next bracelets matches these ones perfectly……
Faceted black onyx and quartz are paired with your color selection for this month to create a bracelet that can easily mix in and be worn together with the Bromelia bracelet set.
My Meraki Box always has a substitute piece that subscribers will receive instead of earrings, if they (earrings) are included in the box that month. Some subscribers could have received a set of geometric and angular sterling silver Art Deco earrings but they kindly sent me this bracelet instead as I’m not much of an earring girl. This is an option you can choose when you sign up for a subscription, whether you would like to receive earrings or not.
Bonus – Bracelet Charm
We appreciate you joining us for our September box! As a token of our thanks we wanted to give you the very first piece from our new charmed collection. Clip this charm onto your favourite beaded bracelet, chain or even certain leather pieces. The possibilities are endless! The charms are a quick, fast and easy way to mix up your everyday look!
How fun is this! Wristicuffs is introducing charms to their product line and My Meraki Box subscribers get to see them first! This is a really cute idea and the charm I received is so pretty. I wonder if every subscriber received the same charm or if we all received different ones?
My Meraki Box Review September 2017 – Final Thoughts
My Meraki Box has done it again. They have put together a fabulous collection, provided amazing value and introduced me to something new – charms for my beaded bracelets. This month’s collection feels a little more on the dressy side. I can see myself wearing the bracelets with a cute black dress or pencil skirt and blouse. The necklace, on the other hand, can be worn with almost anything. I would definitely rock it with jeans and a tee, as well as a little black dress. I love seeing what themes they come up with each month, and I love seeing what exclusive designs are included. I’m never disappointed with My Meraki Box. They definitely know what they are doing 🙂
