Myfunvelope Review April 2017

Finally a fun, and AFFORDABLE craft subscription box that kids love! Every month your child will rush to the mailbox to receive their funvelope. They will discover and have fun with FOUR unique craft projects that follow a fun monthly theme.  What You Get: Each month your child will recieve four themed craft kits, One STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) activity, A learn to draw card, and a fun printable as well as other fun extras. They kindly sent us this box for review.

I was just saying to my sister a couple weekends ago that I should start sending my niece craft supplies in the mail!  My niece is super creative and will often stop my sister from throwing things away, such as used ziplock bags, as she can “make something out of that”.  My sister loves her creativity, but they often run out of supplies and can’t keep up with her ideas!  Myfunvelope is the perfect solution for her and I can’t wait to share this packet with my niece!

Every month receive all the craft supplies you need to complete a few projects.  All crafts take minimal supplies or no supplies out of what is provided for you right inside the envelope!

Bug Box

Craft a bug box with these items provided and always have a small habitat for those bugs you catch on your nature walks!  Such a cute idea.  I love the use of a cupcake box and the stickers are so much fun.  This would be a great craft to take camping.

Mr Grass Head

The cups aren’t provided, but these little items are all you need to plant your own little grass garden at home!  Decorate your cups with the stickers provided to give them a bit of character.  I remember doing this as a kid and was so enthralled with how quickly things grew.  What a perfect spring craft.

Sun Necklace

Piece together these items to craft a cute necklace featuring the sun!  The added beads will create a rainbow on either side of your sun!  My niece spent an entire summer beading and I think this will be a big hit.

Rainbow Weaving

Weave together an intricate rainbow!  This is a super idea.  It’s simple, yet a complicated skill to learn.

Watermelon Headband

Piece together these water mellon slices to craft together a crown that will make you the watermelon princess of the picnic!  This item is so fun.  It’s super easy, so even the kid with the shortest attention span will be able to handle it.

Colouring Sheets

I love that a couple colouring/crafting sheets have been provided.  This is so simple, yet something new is always a huge hit.

Myfunvelope April 2017 – Final Thoughts

I think this subscription box is brilliant!  Just coming out of spring break I heard so many moms say they ran out of ideas of what to do with their kids while on break.  Also, so many parents feel guilty when they turn to Netflix too much during a day.  It can also be exhausting coming up with new ideas and crafts for your kids to do.  This is a great solution!  Plus I was just saying to my sister that I should start doing something like this for my niece, and look, someone is already doing it!  These make great after lunch snacks or perfect things to take to grandmas house for the afternoon.  All of these can be completed easily, yet provide enjoyment past their creation.  Some really good thought has been put in here and I feel really impressed by the details!
