Namaslay Box Review March 2017

Namaslay Box is a Canadian Subscription Box. It is a bimonthly Yoga lifestyle subscription box that will contain a mix of products like aromatherapy products, Natural skincare, healthy snacks, organic tea, home items etc. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Namaslay Box is a new subscription box. We got to review it for the very first time in January and were happy with what we received. Today we get to review the March box and it looks like they have made a few improvements since their last box.

Subscription Details

For those of you who didn’t see the last review, here’s how Namaslay subscriptions work…

  • Each box is $49.95 and you only have one option to choose from – bimonthly recurring subscription
  • You will be charged the 28th of the month on the intervals of 2 months till the time you don’t cancel your subscription or pause it
  • Boxes ship on the 1st of the month
  • Boxes ship in January, March, May, July, September
  • Right now they are shipping to Canada & the US

Here’s a look at the items we received in the March box:

New Moon Tea Co. Mayan Coco ($8)

Made with raw cocoa, himalaya sea salt, chili pepper and coconut sugar it is an indulgent but good for you drink!

I have received this before but am yet to try it. I feel like I need to brew this up tonight and enjoy a cup while I binge watch Reign on Crave TV. Here’s how you make it:

  • add contents to pouch, boil 2 cups of milk, add pouch, simmer for 10 minutes, squeeze and remove pouch, enjoy hot

This actually sounds really good. It’s cold and rainy here today, so this just might be exactly what I need.

Kewaza Energy Balls in Dark Chocolate coconut ($4)

These are clean organic energy balls made from superfoods like gojis, coconut oil and coco nibs. With under 200 calories, and no gluten, dairy, soy or preservatives.

This is another item I have received before, but they are one of my favourite snacks so I definitely don’t mind receiving them again. This is the kind of snack I like to have in my purse. I also like to have these in the afternoon with my tea.

Verdant Botanicals Sweet Dreams Roll On ($12)

Sweet Dreams is a calming and relaxing blend of lavender, chamomile, and vanilla essential oils to help you relax during meditation.

I found out that Verdant Botanicals is the house brand for Namaslay Box. The owner of Namaslay Box also owns Verdant Botanicals so I have a feeling this brand will make an appearance in the box on a regular basis.

I really love roll-on essential oils. I use them on a daily basis. I have one for headaches, one for nausea, one for stress, and I will probably use this one for a sleep aid.

Verdant Botanicals Rose Sandalwood Face Mist ($18)

An aromatic & rejuvenating blend of rose and sandalwood hydrofoil to refresh and tone your complexion. Use it before or after yoga practice to rejuvenate.

I still haven’t jumped in the face mist trend, but that’s only because I am a big ol’ chicken when it comes to face products. I know someone who is going to love this mist though, and I do have to say that it has a lovely scent. Rose is one of my favourite ingredients when it comes to skincare.

Namaslay Rose Quartz Amzonite Bracelet ($26)

Rose quartz teaches us to enjoy life, to see the world through the eyes of a child and ammonite creates an atmosphere of calmness and constancy.

I love to see fashion accessories in my lifestyle boxes. It adds a fun element and an excuse to dress up your workout attire.

AnitaKo Organics Orange Organic Lip Balm ($7)

Moisturize and soften dry chapped lips with this nourishing lip butter.

This would definitely be considered a subscription box staple, but I don’t mind seeing it pop up in my boxes on a regular basis. Lip balm is always a good idea.

Namaslay Box Review March 2017 – Final Thoughts

Namalsay Box did a lovely job with their second box. They made a few small changes in regards to packaging and it makes a big difference. I can tell that they put time and energy into the March boxes and that’s all I can ask for. They put together a really great box full of subscription box staples. I feel like this would be a good box for subscription box newbies. I like this mixture – snack, jewelry, tea and skincare. I had a peek at the spoiler for the May box and I am actually very excited for that one to arrive. I like the direction Namaslay Box is going, and am interested to see what kind of items they include in the next few boxes.

XOXO
