Here’s a closer look at the items I received for the month of November….
Included in every box is a little black booklet detailing all of the products selected each month. You’ll get in-depth descriptions, instructions (in English, of course) and upcoming news!
C-TIVE Highlighter Set
This highlighter set comes in two possible variations: No. 1 Pretty or No. 2 Lovely. I receive No. 1 Pretty which comes with a white pearl and a warmer champagne highlighter. These highlighters have a sheer powder formula that feels very smooth and creamy to the touch. If you’re into soft and natural highlighters, then these are perfect for you! The shimmers in each are very subtle, but they still give the skin a soft luminous sheen. I was a little weary about the white shade, but once blended onto the skin with a brush, it turns into a very soft glow!
Felicela Highlighter Brush
The Felicela Highlighter Brush was included to go with this month’s featured item, the C-TIVE highlighter duo and I’m in love! Its got a sturdy black wooden handle with a beautiful brushed gold ferrule. The bristles are synthetic and made of a PBT material. It’s slim and slightly tapered making it easy to precisely apply highlighter where I want it. The bristles are also the softest I’ve ever felt and this has easily become my go-to highlighting brush!
Sweets Maison Macaron Bath Bomb
Inspired by the popular French dessert, this bath bomb looks just like a delicious macaron! I received a seafoam green color and it releases a relaxing tea fragrance.
Witch’s Pouch Peach Hand Cream
Now that the weather is a lot colder and drier, I’m always in need of a good hand cream. The Witch’s Pouch Peach Hand Cream is a yummy peach scented lotion that’s almost good enough to eat. It has an airy whipped texture that’s very lightweight and it immediately sinks into the skin when it’s applied. It manages to moisturize my skin without being sticky or icky. I love this and it’s already become a staple inside my purse!
Be Creation Hand Mask
If your hands are in need of some extra TLC, then this Be Creation Hand Mask is for you. These hands masks come in the form of gloves making them easy to slip on. The product is contained in the inside of the gloves, so you can go about whatever you’re doing without having to worry about the essence slipping out. The hand mask gives my hands a major moisture boost while also nourishing any dry/rough patches. Once I finished, my hands looks so much smoother and younger too!
NoMakeNoLife Review November 2018 – Final Thoughts
NoMakeNoLife continues to leave me impressed with this month’s box since I liked every single item! As always, I really appreciate the diversity of products. There were makeup items, makeup tools, and bath and body care. Generally there’s skincare products, but I’m glad that this month didn’t have any, so I can get a chance to finish up the ones from the previous months.
I have a weak spot for highlighters and can never get enough! I wish the C-TIVE highlighter had a little more pizzazz, but it’s a good sheer highlighter for my no-makeup makeup or low-maintenance days. It looks natural but still gives my skin a glow. However, my favorite item this month is definitely the Felicela Highlighter Brush! It’s so soft and blends out any highlighter seamlessly.
