Peace Love & Wine Review April 2017
Peace Love & Wine stands for women supporting women and making your world a better place. Each month their BOHO Box features wearable art (jewelry) by a US-based female artisan. You will also receive unique handcrafted items exclusive to Peace Love & Wine, fun self-care and stress relief for female entrepreneurs, creatives, and yoga lovers, and wine lovers accessories. A portion of their profits benefit charitable organizations like The ALS Association, medical research and the arts. They kindly sent us this box for review.
Peace Love & Wine is a new subscription box on the market. This will be our first time reviewing it so let’s go over some of the details.
Subscription Details
Peace Love & Wine started as a monthly subscription box and are now moving to a quarterly large box containing a yoga or wine shirt and a meditative coloring greeting card in each. We are still waiting on the final details as far as price and shipping, but in the meantime let’s have a look at their last monthly box which was the April box…..
Rock and Roll “Picked Grapes” Earrings
A favourite discovery for the Peace Love & Wine team – rock on!
Even though these aren’t really my style preference when it comes to earrings, I still think they are great. I’m completely aware of the fact that not everything I receive will fit my preferences, what I look for instead is quality, theme cohesion, and originality…..and these earrings cover it all!
Handcrafted “Spaaaah Day” Aroma Therapy Soy Tea Light Candle Bundle
You can see the high quality wax as they melt…..amazing scents to relax the stress away!
I wish I knew what scent these were. It’s absolutely lovely, but I can’t quite put my finger on what it is. I am always happy to receive candles, especially tea lights, I like to keep some on hand for my cute little candle holders. They also work perfectly in the tiny mason jars you can purchase at the grocery store.
Mermaid Ink Colored Pens
Well aren’t these fun! Part of me feels like they are a random item for a subscription box like this, and the other part of me is really excited about the fact that I finally received felt pens in a subscription box. I love writing with felt tip pens like this. They are already in my pen holder, sitting beside me as we speak.
Meditative Coloring Card
Grab your mermaid ink and express your inner luminosity……write a love note to your favourite wine sister and send her your creation.
This is a really cute idea and it goes with the felt pens perfectly…..I kind of feel like colouring instead of finishing this review…..
Fabulous “Buy Wine” Notepad
Is the first thing on your list the same as mine?
Note pads are always appreciated. I write at least one list a day…….yup, I that girl. It also fits the wine theme perfectly….maybe the felt pens are starting to make more sense……
Wine Shirt – To Be Featured in the New Quarterly Boxes
This super fun wine shirt wasn’t included in April box, but they sent it to us anyways so you can see an example of the type of clothing item that will be featured in their new quarterly boxes. Here’s more info from the website:
- The full-sized quarterly BOHO Box comes with 4-5 full-sized treasures with a bonus wine-themed yoga or wine tasting shirt and ships in the months of September, December, March and June.
Peace Love & Wine Review April 2017 – Final Thoughts
Even though we received this box late, and they no longer offer a monthly box, I’m still happy to have received this as it provides a good example of what we can expect from Peace Love & Wine in the future. I still need a lot more info to feel totally comfortable with this box, but this is a good start. I am assuming we will receive wine themed items each quarter…..but I’m not entirely sure. We will be sure to update you with more details as we receive them. Until then……may your week be filled with Peace Love & Wine!
