Pop Shop America Earring of the Month Club – March 2016
I reviewed my first Earring of the Month Club from Pop Shop America last month, and was pleasantly surprised. I was mostly impressed with the amazing things this company has going on, and that it was all started by a lovely entrepreneur – Brittany. Not only does she have this cute little monthly subscription but she also hosts a craft fair and art festival that welcomes over 25,000 attendees per year, and has an online shop – you go girl!!
If you aren’t familiar with the Pop Shop America Earring of the Month Club is an annual subscription box where subscribers get earrings for about half of their retail price, every pair is different, and every subscriber gets a different sets from other subscribers. None of the earrings are overstock or giveaways. They are all handmade, indie, cutesy, fun earrings from their regular Pop Shop America catalog. This box was provided complimentary for review.

What You Get: You will receive a new pair of earrings each month from Pop Shop America, plus loads of free goodies along the way. Each pair will be different – from dangly earrings to stud earrings. Some are fun and bright while others are perfect for the office. No two pair are alike and no two people will get the same pairs of handmade earrings.

This month’s packaging isn’t as elaborate as last month’s. My february earrings came in their own little pillow box, which I thought was a nice touch. I’m also not as excited about my March earrings as I was about my February earrings.
Earrings – These little guys are super cute, but just not my style. I would like to say that I will wear them, but chances are I won’t. This is just a personal preference and some ladies will probably LOVE these. I lean towards metals and jewels (aka – bling) when it comes to my jewelry, so these are a little too understated for me.
Bonus Item – The description for the Earring of the Month Club says “You will receive a new pair of earrings each month from Pop Shop America, plus loads of free goodies along the way.” This pretty little stone/rock is one of the bonus items mentioned above. Believe it or not I use to collect rocks and polish them when I was little, I even had my own rock tumbler (don’t ask) so I should know what kind of stone this is but sadly I can’t remember. It’s very pretty though.
Thoughts: Hmmm….to be totally honest I’m just not feeling this month’s box. I definitely preferred last month’s earrings to this month’s, but like I mentioned above, it is strictly a personal preference. The pretty little garnet earrings are too understated for me, but I have a friend who will absolutely love them. The Earring of the Month Club is a wonderful idea, who doesn’t want to receive jewelry in the mail every month, but it won’t be for everyone. I would love to know what you think of this subscription?
