Here’s a closer look at the August box…….it is SO cute!

August Theme – Farmer’s Market Box

We love the concept “farm to table” and the treat of having fresh ingredients available while supporting local farms. We thought why not create the concept “letters to mailboxes” and have a fresh collection of fun cards while showcasing artists who love their craft?!

This is the cutest idea ever! I let out a little squeal when I opened the box because I love vegetables and I love farmer’s markets. They really came up with a great theme for the August box. You can tell they put a lot of thought into it.

Everyday I’m Brusselin’

Located in Long Island, NY, Meeschmosh’s inspiration comes from random thoughts and everyday life. Michelle LaRocca is a graphic designer who is passionate about different printing methods. She is a hands-on kind of gal: everything she makes is assembled by hand with love. Add a little hustle, when you eat your brussel sprouts. A great card to send to a veggie-loving friend.

I think this just might be the best greeting card I have ever received, and I have received some pretty fun ones in the past. I’m vegan so the veggie theme speaks to my heart. I also happen to LOVE brussel sprouts and love the play on words. We are off to a good start.

I’m All Ears

Farmwood Press, located in Atlanta, GA is creatively cultivated by the husband and wife duo of Chris and Katie Torres. Their presses are an extension of them and part of their family. They even have names! The details in their designs are whimsical.

I really can’t get over the veggie theme. I absolutely love it. I’m not entirely sure how I will use this particular card. I feel like I will have to be creative with this one.

A Bushel & A Peck and a Hug Around the Neck

Here at 1canoe2, we are a big nature-and-garden-loving family! Our passion for growing flavorful fruit inspired this sweet card. It’s ideal for any occasion you need ‘I love you.’ Our hand-painted illustrations are printed locally in the Midwest, USA.

So cute and such a fun card to give to a loved one. This could be used for a number of different occasions.

You Are One in a Melon

Alexis Mattox Designs, located in Springfield, UT started as a love story. Husband and wife team, Paul and Alexis met on their first day in college and a seed was planted. They both have a zeal for art, she on the creative side and he on the business side. Their work showcases their passion for design, laser cutting, and paper.

I have a soft spot for shaped cards. I love that this isn’t your typical rectangle or square. It makes it so much more fun.

Tomato & Carrot Seed Packet Postcards

Found Image Press, located in San Diego, CA carries over 35,000 images derived from vintage postcards, photographs, and illustrations dating from 1890 and 1945. The vegetable seed packets pictured on the postcards are from the Card Seed Co., Fredonia, NY. The seed packets were originally printed by the Genesee Valley Litho. Co.

The carrot postcard was one of the spoilers I saw for this month’s box. I wasn’t really sure what it was at first….a card, a postcard, a packet of seeds? Regardless of what it actually was, I loved the design and was excited for it to arrive in the box.

Pen & Pencil

Ummm…..how stinkin’ cute is this carrot pen! It’s the first thing I saw when I opened the box. It jumped right out at me. How can you miss it?!

Vintage Stamps

We love mail art at Postmark’d Studio. This month we are providing lots of stamps to create mail art with stamp collages. There is enough postage included to mail 4 greeting cards and 1 postcard.

Such a simple item, but it’s appreciated nonetheless. I love that they include stamps in each box. I feel like it really sets them apart.

Sunflower Seeds

What a fun little bonus item. I love that they included seeds. They are making me want to go out and find a spot to plant them ASAP. Either that or I will get my Dad to plant them at the farm……. and I will pick them.

Postmark’d Studio Review August 2017 – Final Thoughts

Oh my goodness! How amazing is this box! I can’t believe Postmark’d Studio is a new subscription. By the looks of the August Box they have been in business for years. They really did a wonderful job. They thought of every little detail. From the theme, to the product card, to the theme description, to the cards, the carrot pen, the packet of seeds……all of it!! I am so impressed right now. I almost can’t find the words to describe how perfect this box is. Right now Postmark’d Studio is at the top of my stationery subscription list…….the very top!

XOXO
