Postmark’d Studio Review January 2019

Postmark’d Studio is a premium stationary subscription box for the snail-mail enthusiast delivered to your door monthly. Every month you will receive a Postmark’d card, pencil, USPS stamps, artsy doodads, 4 additional cards, and an informative card. Sometimes they even like to surprise you with some fun bonuses! The PostBox 1-month subscription is $25.00 + $5.00 shipping in the US. Shipping to Canada is also available for $11.00/month and international shipping is $17.00/month.

Postmark’d Studio also has 3, 6, and 12-month subscriptions which each have amazing savings on the price.

All of the products are based on a monthly theme! This month’s theme is Zesty. You’ll find tons of citrus delight inside this box along with a delicious recipe to include in your snail mail if you’d like. The recipe is for Sour Orange Pie and they have included detailed instructions to make everything from the crust to the whipped cream topping.

I really appreciate when a subscription box sends me personalized stuff! It really shows how much detail the box owners go into to deliver the perfect box for their customers. Inside of the blue envelope is a handwritten note and a tiny ripped note that says “this will be a good year.” which gets me so pumped! This little note was the perfect way to start off the new year.

First product is a signature Postmark’d Studio postcard. The material is very sturdy, I was surprised it was only one card! This card is a perfect way to share Postmark’d with friends or family who love stationery just as much as you do.

Postage Stamps

These beautiful vintage postage stamps add a little fun to your happy mail! I really like that they send stamps to mail out the cards and postcards from the box. It makes it so much easier and let’s face it, you’re way more likely to ship stuff out if you have everything you need. That is definitely something that attracts me to a box!

Postcards

Lemons, limes, and oranges galore! These glossy citrus postcards are the perfect snail-mail to send during the upcoming spring season. The golden slices featured on the front of each card are sure to brighten up anyone’s day. Slap on some coordinating vintage postage and pop it in the mail for a friend or family member.

Bag

This adorable orange slice purse was a great addition to this month’s box! You can stash your leftover postage stamps inside of this or even use it as a coin purse and toss it in your bag to go. It is made from a soft plush fabric and you have to really admire the detail of the print.

Grapefruit by Hazel + Dolly

Write up a fun note to a friend on this delightful pink grapefruit card by Hazel + Dolly! This card adds a POP of color to the theme this month and I’m loving it. Pink is my favorite color so I was thrilled to see it in this month’s citrus themed box. I can’t wait to get to writing and sending off cute little notes, especially this one!

Three individually packaged cards, all so perfectly blended together for this January theme!

Hey, Hey by Hazelmade

Celebrate someone with the green mojito card. It is made just for that special someone who has a birthday coming up. I have a few family members with birthdays next month so I’m really excited to drop a few of these in the mail. I love how artsy and chill the drinks look on this picture! It would even make a great “let’s get drinks” card to celebrate their special day.

Citrus Bowl by Brown Parcel Press

The darling citrus bowl card can be used any time! When I first saw it, it reminded me of a sweet invitation to ask someone to come visit or even a simple “hello, how are you?” card in the mail box. I love how simple it is and the tones are very calming. This card is perfect to send out a copy of the Sour Orange Pie recipe inside.

Lemon Pie by Lili Graffiti

When life gives you lemons, you make lemon… pie. Last up is the “Lemon pie makes everything better!” card which is probably one of my personal favorites! I love the little lemon border detail around the front of the card and how bright and lively it is. This card also includes a coordinating yellow envelope to send it off in.

Citrus Mini Booklets by Inkello Letterpress

Seriously, how freaking adorable are the tiny citrus slices? I’m a sucker for cute little stationery and these honestly take the cake. They are the perfect little pocket notepads.

Pencils

These bright citrus colored pencils are a Postmark’d Studio exclusive! Each pencil is stamped with fun little puns that are sure to brighten up your day.

Bonus Item

The bonus item in this month’s box is this cute 1-ounce candle in Star Scent which has Tahitian vanilla, cardamom, nutmeg, and citrus zest. The really neat thing about this candle is it doubles as warm massage oil when lit, solid perfume when cool making it “wearable”. I have never heard or seen anything like it but I’m honestly amazed this is even possible!

Postmark’d Studio Review January 2019 – Final Thoughts

I felt the zest all throughout this month’s Postmark’d Studio box! All the citrus spring colors get me pumped for warmer weather and sharing these delightful postcards. Handwritten notes and cards are not something many people use these days. Celebrations or invitations are typically sent via social media or text, so I think it’s such a wonderful thing to send out a special card written with love every now and then!
