Scentbird is a luxury fragrance subscription service that sends you a 30-day supply of a designer fragrance of your choice for $14.95/month. On your first month you get a sleek perfume case to hold the perfume, you then switch it out each month with your new perfume. They kindly sent us the new Scentbird Skincare line for review.
I am super excited to announce that Scentbird has expanded their product line. I love to see a subscription box evolve over time. It shows me that they are in it for the long haul.
Let’s have a closer look at the new skincare products and go over all the details.
Product Details
We’ve got a nose for scent and you’ve got little time to shop. That’s why we created our first skincare collection. Made with real fruit extract, soothing aloe leaf and hydrating vitamins, our hand cream is packed with all the goodness your skin craves (no parabens, sulfates or animal cruelty). You can try bath + body as part of your existing subscription, or upgrade to try multiple products each month.
Subscription Details
I’m still trying to figure out how the skincare products fit in to their existing subscription model as their website doesn’t really explain it very well. But here’s how I think it works:
- Sign up for the regular Scentbird subscription
- Pay $14.95 per month
- Add fragrance or skincare products to your queue and receive one new product each month (either fragrance or skincare)
- Upgrade your account to receive multiple products each month
- I’m not sure how much the upgrade is at this point, or how many products you can choose to receive each month
Hand Creams
Cucumber & Lotus – Crisp cucumber meets lush lotus blossom, redefining fresh. Our soothing hand cream is packed with all the goodness your skin craves.
Rose & Prosecco – Vibrant rose + a touch of fizzy freshness – we’ll toast to that. Our soothing hand cream is packed with all the goodness your skin craves.
Yuzu & Ginger – Citrusy yuzu underlined with spicy ginger revs up tired skin. Our soothing hand cream is packed with all the goodness your skin craves.
Body Wash & Scrub
Mango & Kiwi – The flavors of juicy mango and ripe kiwi mingle on the skin. Our melting texture sinks in and gets to work on your skin.
Earl Grey & Blackberry – Sip on this: Earl Grey + Blackberry is all kinds of delicious. Our shower cream foams on and on – so smooth you won’t want to share.
Scentbird Skincare Collection Review December 2017 – Final Thoughts
I don’t know about you, but I am very excited about Scentbird’s new skincare line. I love that the new line is free of Parabens & Sulfates and that they are made with real fruit extracts, natural exfoliants and hydrating vitamins. I’ve had a chance to test out the hand creams and I awn really happy with the formula. It’s not too thick, not too thin, and it provides the right amount of moisture without being greasy. I am also really happy with all the scents I received; they are unique without being too over-the-top. I think this was a really great move on Scentbirds part and I hope to see more products added to the skincare line in the future……maybe body lotion and deodorant?? I would definitely sign up for a monthly subscription that included fragrance, lotion, body scrub and deodorant every month…….just sayin’.
