S&G Beauty Box Review January 2017

S&G Beauty Box is a monthly subscription beauty box that delivers 4-6 carefully handpicked beauty products right to your door. Their mission is to introduce their subscribers to natural products that makes them look and feel good! They kindly sent us this box for review.

I’m really late to the game with this review, but my January S&G Beauty Box showed up only a few days ago. I’m not sure if it got lost in the mail, but it’s here now and that’s all that matters.

The January 2017 S&G Beauty Box included the following items:

Nail Revolution Strength by Pretty Woman NYC

Nail Revolution Strength helps strengthen nails and cuticles with this 3-piece system. Nail Strong is a fortifying nail lacquer that will help thicken and strengthen week, soft nails. High Five is a nourishing nail lacquer that promotes a hardening, anti-oxidizing, strengthening, moisturizing and remineralizing effect on the nails. Argan Drops hydrate and treat dry, damaged cuticles and nails.

I literally just purchase something very similar to this. My nails have been horrible the last couple months. Mostly due to the dry weather. And since I don’t like to wear polish on my nails, I opt for strengthening products like this. Really great idea for a January box!

Exfoliating Gloves

Achieve soft and silky smooth skin with these exfoliating gloves! For best results, use daily while in the shower. Subscribers received either pink or purple gloves.

I absolutely love exfoliating gloves. I started using them a couple of years ago and have had a pair in my shower ever since. I like to use them for a month or two and then replace them with a new pair. They are really great for exfoliating, I use them on the back of my arms and legs.

Eye Serum by Studio Aroma

Formulated with antioxidant and anti-aging extracts, this full-sized eye serum is perfect for toning and firming of the delicate skin around the eyes, leaving skin cool and refreshed.

I have received this product a few times before. I really love the formula, and it does leave my eyes feeling refreshed but it doesn’t have much of an effect other than that.

Oatmeal Rose Cleanser by Studio Aroma

This handmade natural Oatmeal Rose Cleanser is suitable for most skin types. Apply a small amount of cleanser on your palm with a few drops of water, and then create circular massage motions on wet skin to cleanse. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Another item from Studio Aroma. I am very familiar with this brand and like that their products are natural. This cleanser sounds very nice. It’s the first time I have received a powdered cleanser, I usually receive powdered masks.

Eye Shadow by Sweet Leilani

This Canadian brand is Vegan, Paraben FREE, Gluten FREE, Cruelty FREE and Fragrance FREE! Subscribers received one of many beautiful shades.

This is a really gorgeous shade. I saw that another reviewer received a really pretty lilac shade. I would have also loved that. Purple is a really great color for brown eyes. However, the shade I received is very versatile.

S&G Beauty Box Review January 2017 – Final Thoughts

Even though I’m sad to have received this box so late, I still like it. Exfoliating gloves are my best friend, the nail products are much-needed and the shadow is gorgeous. S&G Beauty Box did a lovely job for January. It’s interesting though, I haven’t seen any February reviews yet. I wonder if their boxes typically ship late. This is my fourth review and I remember receiving my other 3 boxes on time. So far my favourite boxes have been October and November. We received some really wonderful items in those boxes. Items I still use on a regular basis. I’m very curious to see the February box, and hopefully we will see a spoiler for the March box soon.

XOXO
