Simple Loose Leaf Review November 2018
Simple Loose Leaf is one of the best and affordable tea subscription boxes! They normally send you 4 different teas, 2 with caffeine, and 2 without. This is perfect for the next cold night that you want tea but you’re close to your bedtime and you are wanting something that wont keep you up too long. So without further ado, let’s get into November’s Tea Box!
White Monkey (Retail: $13.00)
Something that I am really loving with Simple Loose Leaf is that their inner pamphlet keeps getting better and better with more information on the tea, the growing seasons, how it is made, and the different flavors that one will taste with them. You can really tell that the company loves what they are doing.
White Monkey is a full-bodied green tea that has a curled leaf structure. This tea is from China and it has a really light and sweet aroma. When tasting it I noticed that it had a hint of peach in the taste. As always I add a little bit of natural organic honey made in Oklahoma to help sweeten it a bit.
Yunnan 1st Grade (Retail: $7.00)
Some of my most favorite teas are black teas and Yunnan is one of the best. It is from China’s Yunnan province. It has a slight chocolate flavor with hints of honey. Accentuated with my natural honey that I add to every cuppa. This tea is known as an everyday tea and is in the 1st grade which makes it a high-ranking tea.
Apple Cinnamon Herbal (Retail: $8.00)
This probably had to be my favorite tea out of this month’s box. The aroma put me at ease and the taste was mind-blowing. I have a huge weakness for apple and cinnamon and when you put it with tea it jus takes it to another level!
This is a perfect tea for waking up on a cold morning, wrapping yourself in a blanket, sitting next to the window, and opening up your favorite book or maybe even writing in your journal. This tea primarily uses a cinnamon chip paired with South African rooibos leaves. I highly recommend this tea!
Pumpkin Spice Herbal (Retail: $7.00)
This tea is basically Autumn in a Cup. It is perfect for the month of November. Pumpkin Month. It is seriously Thanksgiving in a Mug! The Pumpkin Spice Herbal tea uses a South African rooibos base that adds a sweetness to the classic Pumpkin Spice flavor! I really enjoyed this tea! The color was wonderful and it really made me feel cozy!
This has been another lovely tea box from Simple Loose Leaf! I love the new design to the box as well. It made me smile the moment I retrieved it from my mailbox. You really couldn’t get a better tea box for the price of $9.00 a month. I highly recommend you try it out!
