SinglesSwag Review September 2018

At SinglesSwag, they do not subscribe to any societal or cultural expectations on women. They believe a woman’s happiness is determined by her outlook and attitude, not her relationship status. They love to make women look and feel beautiful while empowering and inspiring them. They kindly sent us this box for review.

SinglesSwag is probably going to end up being my favourite subscription box find of 2018, or one of them at least. I really should do a post dedicated to the best box discoveries of this year because there have been some good ones. SinglesSwag has actually been around since 2016 but I only just discovered it this year. How did I not know about it sooner than that?!

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the September SinglesSwag box….

I Was Told There’d Be Cake – Sloane Crosley ($16)

This New York Times Bestselling Book by acclaimed author Sloane Crosley is a hilarious and profoundly genuine collection of essays chronicling the struggles and unexpected beauty of modern life.

I have heard of this book, but until now I didn’t know anything about it. I had a quick look through it while taking the photos and I actually got sidetracked and ended up reading a few pages. It sucked me in immediately. I have a feeling this will be a good read.

Laritzy Dew Pot ($20)

Loaded with ultra fine shimmer, this smooth, blend-able highlighter will keep you dewy all day. Designed to enhance skin tones, this effortless formula can be used whenever you want an extra touch of light.

First of all, how gorgeous is this color?! I hope the photo does it justice because it is absolutely beautiful. The Dew Pot is available in 6 different colors and I received Utopia. To use you simply dab onto the high points of the face (cheek bones, brow bones, down the center of the nose, and the Cupid’s bow) to add instant radiance and naturally accentuate your features. Can also be applied with a highlighter brush.

Oh K! Coconut Water Mask Set ($22)

Nourish and hydrate your skin with this set of three coconut water infused Korean beauty face masks shaped to fit the contours of your face and designed to leave you feeling radiant and refreshed.

Face masks are always appreciated, they are a good item to have on hand. This is brand I’ve never tried before and we received a pack of three. I like that they are made with coconut water.

Gemelli Izzy Bracelet Set ($70)

Perfect for work, weekend and everything in between, these chic, slip-on style bracelets with polished crystal beads and cream tassel will add style to your look all year round.

I am absolutely LOVING these bracelets. They just might be my favourite jewelry item from SinglesSwag thus far. I love that there are 2, perfect for stacking or wearing on their own. I LOVE the mini tassel and I love the neutral colors.

Headbands Of Hope Heather Tube Turban ($17)

This seamless, versatile headband made from 100% polyester is soft, comfortable and can be worn in a variety of ways. Best of all, for every headband sold (including yours), a headband is donated to a child with cancer.

This was one of the spoilers for the September box and I was SO excited when I saw it. Headbands Of Hope is an amazing company. They actually have their own subscription, of which I have been reviewing for the last three months. Given some recent events it has become my favourite subscription box to receive. I have a whole new appreciation for this subscription because of its dedication to a cause that is now near and dear to my heart.

In regards to the particular headband we received……I absolutely LOVE it. I actually like it more than any of the styles I have received in my Headbands Of Hope subscription the last 3 month. It’s perfect for Fall and very versatile.

Purlisse Watermelon Energizing Aqua Balm ($45)

Love your skin with this luxurious lightweight, oil-free gel cream infused with Aloe Vera to reduce inflammation. White Tea to protect from cellular damage, cucumber to sooth and firm and vitamin-packed Watermelon to energize and refresh.

Purlisse is a brand I am very familiar with. I have received it a number of times over the years but I’ve never received this particular product. It’s a lightweight balm that can be used after cleansing, morning and night.

Fab Snacks ($5)

We received 2 different snacks this month which makes me VERY happy. We received Lesser Evil Himalayan Gold Coconut Oil Popcorn and Popchips Ridges Tangy BBQ Potato Chips.

SinglesSwag Review September 2018 – Final Thoughts

I don’t think I have ever received a SinglesSwag box I didn’t like. They have a great subscription box on their hands, one of the best on the market. They always curate an amazing box and have the best product mix. We really do receive a little bit of everything – book, snack, jewelry, accessory, skincare and makeup. Now……if only they would include a cozy Fall scarf my life would be complete. I’m dying to see what they include in the October box! Please let it have a Halloween or Fall vibe. Fingers crossed.

XOXO
