SandyLand Studio Bath Salts
Bath salts are a really nice little bath treat. I will set some time aside for a nice long bath when I’m mentally or physically tired. It’s a great way to end your day and get ready for bed. If you have trouble sleeping I think this would be a great way to relax yourself and promote a better night’s sleep.
New Moon Tea Co. Relax and Renew Tea
Relax and Renew tea is an Organic herbal blend of Lavender, Lemon Balm, Chamomile and Corn Flowers. This tea is a calming blend of herbs which help relieve stress, reduce anxiety and calm the mind body and soul. Drink it any time of the day and experience the tranquility just as if you were at the yoga studio or out on a walk in nature.
How lovely does this blend sound – Lavender, Lemon Balm, Chamomile and Corn Flowers?! Just reading the tea description makes me feel relaxed. I’m a huge fan of tea before bed, especially a relaxing blend like this one. I should also mention that I have received this brand many times before and absolutely love their tea blends!
Prestante Strega Valerian Tincture
I did a little research on Valerian and discovered that it is a traditional herb used to ease pain, improve sleep, digestion, anxiety, and headaches. Valerian may increase the body’s available supply of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a neurotransmitter that eases physical tension and stress.
To use this Tincture you simple add 20-30 drops under your tongue or add to a drink.
Melatonin is a hormone that is produced by the pineal gland and regulates sleep and wakefulness. This is the perfect addition to product mixture. It’s a really great sleep supplement and adds value to the box.
Stress Less Shower Steamers
Stress Less Steamers are made with the following essential oils:
- Grapefruit essential oil – refreshing and uplifting, helps reduce depression
- Sweet orange essential oil – uplifting and antidepressant
- Clary sage essential oil – enhances one’s ability to dream and very calming and stress relieving
- Lavender essential oil – calming, relaxing and balancing, both physically and mentally
- Roman chamomile essential – calming and relaxing, helps minimize anxiety, irritability and nervousness.
To use you simply place one aromatherapy shower steamer in the corner of your shower, away from the direct stream of water, but not too far that the water never touches it. Trickle a little bit of water over it and to get it started, but don’t leave the shower melt directly in the stream of water or it will dissolve too quickly.
I happen to really love shower steamers. I don’t use them often but if it were up to me I would have a lifetime supply.
They also included this chart to keep track of your sleep and to identify the sleep aids that work best for you.
SnoozeBox Review December 2017 – Final Thoughts
SnoozeBox has done a lovely job with their launch box. They put together a really nice mixture of sleep products – supplement, bath products, shower products, tea and tincture. I would have loved to see a product card in the box and maybe some pretty packaging, but other than that they have done a great job seeing as this is their very first box. I can think of a few people (family members & friends) off the top of my head who suffer from insomnia and I know for a fact that they would love a box full of sleep products. I think this is a really great idea for a subscription box and look forward to seeing more from them.
